  I just love my Stiltz Lift! I was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons disease, and stairs pose a problem for me. I love my 2 story home and don’t want to even consider moving. A friend asked if I had ever considered putting in an elevator. We checked it out and not only was that super expensive but they said it would take 5 months to complete the job! Another friend told me she had seen the Stiltz ad in a magazine and that i should check it out. So we did and the rest is history. It fits nicely in a closet in my husbands office and when the door is shut, you would never know it’s there.

  We are very happy with our elevator. It works very well. We especially like the plexiglass walls as there is no feelings of confinement. Over all very happy.

  We've had our lift for a few weeks. It is great. Very quiet, takes up little space in our small Condo. We will now be able to remain in place.

  These are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS units. I was trapped in ours, in 100 degree heat for well over an hour before rescue, due to a switch which shut down the system between floors, rather than lowering slowing in an 'emergency' mode. I was contacted by Stiltz USA, explained the situation and was told that "they have never had a switch fail". Apparently, the only firm in the world to enjoy such a luxury. Our unit is new, installed at a cost of $40,000 and has not been used even 40 times. However, considering the possibility that a simple switch failure could result in severe health damage or death, I refuse to enter the unit unless the defects are fully remedied or it is removed and I receive a full refund. I also noted on the parent company's site, numerous cases of others being trapped for long periods of time, due to technical issues, as well. Thus, it is not an opinion, but a FACT - THESE UNITS ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!

  I've had my Stilz lift for just over a year and don’t know how I ever managed without it. It made it possible for me to get up & down, without using the stairs, after my knee replacement. I also use it to carry laundry & other things between floors without making my arthritis worse. My lift has made a huge improvement to my life!

  We love our Stiltz and so does our aging dog. We also use it to transport laundry and packages between the first and second floors. Shawn, the representative/owner in North Carolina, was very patient and responsive to me. And, his employees were very friendly, professional and thorough.

  We had an excellent installation of our Stiltz Elevator. After two fine tunings, it has performed beautifully and we are very happy with it. My husband uses it constantly during the day to go between our first floor and the basement garage where he works on his projects. We also use it for transferring groceries and luggage; it is a godsend for this purpose as well. We heartily recommend Stiltz Elevator; it has enabled us to live at home with ease.

  Impossible to get servics on Stiltz in Florida. Were in Boca their in Olando. Was promised it would not be a problem by sales person. Called main company and was told had outstanding balance of $5,369, even though I paid in full. My experience.

  We purchased our Stiltz elevator after doing reasonably extensive research. It has proven to be an excellent decision – as it converted out 2-story home to a one-story. We are both 75. When our bodies are cooperating, we use the elevator to move things between floors that are too heavy or awkward for us to carry. When, as recently, I had a hip replaced – it allowed me to come home immediately and sleep in my own bed upstairs. Recently we had it serviced – the technician did his thing quickly and completely.

  The Duo Alta elevator was the best solution to our home where there are some 25 steps from the street to the front door. With aging mobility problems we needed a way to get from the garage (underneath the house) to living level and was not interested in a bulky outdoor chair lift. the elevator goes from the garage to the kitchen and relatively unobtrusive. It has been a life saver for my wife who has troubled knees and a heart condition. Additionally, the local installation team (Aging in Place Contracting) in San Diego was very professional and did a nice job in the installation. Would recommend them for anyone in the San Diego area that needs a solution like this.
