      Aqua water is the worst the water taste terrible you have to filter it before drinking. Every year the price goes up when I first moved into my subdivision with the community well I was paying around $23 a month now I am paying around $50 a month. I do not understand how a company can get by with charging the amount they charge. Every year you receive a letter stating how they are going to charge more for an implement of water an sewer investment plan. The letter always states that the price increase does not have to be approved by the commissioner. If at all possible do not use Aqua Water! I am not happy with this company they will find every way possible to charge you more and more for the worst quality water, they actually purchase their water that you receive from the city water company, they are just passing the cost along to you. The community well system is not a good choice to make with Aqua Water it may sound great because you hear well water but it is terrible. Aqua Water is an absolute disgrace. If I could switch to city water I absolutely would they charge less than aqua water and you are already purchasing the same water anyway, aqua water buys the water you drink from the surrounding water resources.

      This company is a criminal organization that makes you pay for water you can’t drink. They run you around with empty words of looking into issues but due nothing. My water is orange I complain. A few days or weeks later it’s the same. I call and no record every was made . My neighbors do the same. Same issue. All lies from this company. The fact that local politicians haven’t done anything is appalling. I’m doing everything I can here in McHenry county illinois to get this company to fix themselves. To fix this issue. The criminal organization needs to be stopped at all cost!

      Screwing us over. Multiple people in my neighborhood have said their bills have increased yet their water usage hasn’t. I tried calling they told me to do several tests all of which I did. They are blaming everything aside from themselves.

      I'd give Zero starts, if possible.
      I contacted the company as a new resident 6 months ago, they made note to my file but they still have not sent me my first bill. I contacted them again and now they're going to send someone to my home to read the meter. This should have been done back when I contacted them the first time. I do have the last bill from the previous homeowner and they should have to pay their portion of the bill. What a mess. I am very disappointed in this business that I'm forced to use for sewer costs.

      I contacted Aqua in regards to not being able to set up an online account. I want to receive my monthly statements by mail and be able to monitor my account. Aqua does not allow its customers to monitor their account, unless you go paperless. Why are customers who choose to go paperless allowed to monitor their own accounts but not customers who choose to receive their paper statements by mail? There is no reason for me not being able to monitor my account, regardless of how I get notified of the charges I owe.
      The second issue I have is Aqua will not accept electronic payments from our bank, even though Aqua is set up to receive electronic payments. So the bank has to mail the payment and and Aqua keeps charging late fees due to Aqua not getting the payment on time. The customer service rep I spoke with said the USPS is taking up to 30 days to deliver the mail, therefore making the payments late. I requested to speak to someone who could possibly help me with these concerns, the rep stated she could not transfer me to someone and said if I submit an online request to be contacted, someone would call me. I submitted the request asking for someone to call me, and instead of getting a call. I received an email stating what the rep told me was acute. Therefore, no one is going to call me.
      I feel it is quite clear that Aqua does not care about their customers and does not work in the best interest of their customers. If Aqua does not want to accept electronic payments like all of the other utility companies, Aqua should not be able to charge late fees when they know the USPS is taking up to 30 days to deliver the mail.

      Worst company I have ever encountered. Their payment system is confusing, split across two fully separate online payment mechanisms that they seemingly don't control either of properly. There is no way to cancel autopay drafted through the "speedpay" portal from Aqua's side (supposedly). First person I got in touch with told me that Western Union needed to deal with the speedpay account. Called Western Union, they said "we don't know what you're talking about, call Aqua again." Called Aqua again, and they then told me "oh, we can't cancel an autopay account that has a credit on it." My account had a credit associated with it, probably because the autopay system is total garbage and likely overdrew relative to the amount required to settle the account. I truly cannot express how inept these people are. It is astounding that as of this writing they have an A- rating on BBB. They should be at an F and never move up from there.

      Aqua stinks. It is legalized robbery with their waste waster charges. One bill for one quarter to the next quarter was 90% higher with the exact same of amount of water usage. When I called them and actually got through after a forever wait the customer service rep agreed the bill was very high and he was glad he wasn't living there and had to pay that much while he was giggling. I asked about the rate per gallon and how much it was per gallon to calculate the math. He had a very difficult time trying to get me any rate information and when he did it was completely inaccurate. The math never came out. I sent a letter to the PUC and am waiting to here back but I think they basically have you by the b----s and there isn't much you can do about it. It is criminal that your water and sewer bills are as high as school taxes, etc. Don't bother moving to PA because you will pay through the nose. If I could leave a no star rating I would have but it makes you at least pick one star.

      The absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had. They shut off my water & were impossible to get ahold of to turn it back on. I was away traveling & thought I paid more than I did in June. I’ve been without water for a day & they’re saying it’ll be until tomorrow to turn it back on, even though I made a payment yesterday. They don’t seem to care.

      I wish I could leave negative stars and use any other company. They told me someone will be by to turn my water on (company took it upon themselves to shut it off while I was in the hospital) between 8-5. Keep in mind I talked to 3 customer support agents and they all confirmed the time. I took the day off to be here because they insisted I was here. They never showed and then told me someone will come before 8 and no one showed. Customer service pretty much put the blame on me. Wish I didn’t have to give this company my hard earned money. all their customers deserve better.

      This company is horrible, id go into more detail but I'd just be repeating everyone else on here. New construction, they " never received " our 3 different applications and documents, an now my water is off. They put a lock on my shutoff valve and are now telling me it's probably 7 days before my water gets turned on. Have a toddler at home and no potable water
