      The absolute worst company to deal with . We have had 5 water boil advisories in the 1 and 1/2 that I have been a customer. We lost water on July 2nd and 4 days later no one knows what is happening. Call then directly and they give you the run on the mill !! Abhorrent and appalling. I cannot find words to describe this . Cannot give zero stars here !!!!

      If I could I will give a rating of half. Horrible customer service. They do not communicate important information. Water to our subdivision was out and Aqua did not inform us. When we called them, they gave various reasons for water outage. It’s been 2 days since the water had been off and we had water supply for a couple of hours.

      We have had no running water in 3 days. We have had hardly any communication from Aqua and when we do, it’s a boil order. What water do you want us to boil?!
      The answering service on Sunday and today (7/4) says to call back during business hours. This is an emergency. I have been told on the phone a tech or service agent will call me, it has never happened. We should be put into hotels or be brought cases of water. This is so unsanitary and unsafe. We can not flush our toilets. For having bills of $287 per month and this service when something happens, is horrific and AQUA should be embarrassed and ashamed.

      ZERO STARS!! We have paid and sent all docs and we’re given a window of time to have our meter put in. The window has passed and all emails, phone calls, and messages are being ignored. It’s been a month and we haven’t even started service and I’m already hating this company and I have never said that about a utility company. From reading all these complaints they are thieves and scammers…. and sadly we are at their mercy, which we should have more power than we do! This is a horrible way to run a company. BBB or someone needs to step in.

      Aqua is unable to process payments that customers send within 48 hours of receiving bills, and because they are so slow at processing customer payments they consistently send shutoff letters. For many months, I have mailed checks within 48 hours of receiving a bill. Aqua consistently takes >3 weeks to process checks in their own processing center, and therefore the checks are never seen by their systems to be on time even though they are sitting in their processing center. They then send threatening shutoff letters to customers. Their own incompetence at processing their mail is penalizing customers! When I finally call them about checks that my own bank shows (with images) were cashed by them, their systems still don't show them as cashed. It's crazy that this company can continue doing this due to their own incompetence and inability to improve their operations. Separately, every few months they raise their rates because they take on additional water service areas. This is the ONLY business I know that RAISES their rates due to scaling their own size! All other businesses actually are able to spread fixed costs and scale results in lower rates - it is inexcusable that they cannot figure out how to run this business more effectively for customers.

      This organization is at the forefront of what is wrong with this country. They are, by all accounts, an awful organization that only exists to line someone's pockets. The pricing per gallon of water use is absurd, but that is something I could live with paired with good quality water and great service. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I cannot even find a non-emergency number to contact. I have, what I believe, to be a fairly emergent case, and the emergency line seems to think I need to call the NC office using the same number I use to get them. There's no avenue of approach to get anything taken care of, and I believe this company does it purposefully to save costs. This company should not be in business, and anyone reading this should continue to voice their opinion. This is AWFUL, and you all should be ashamed.

      Zero stars. Ended service with them July 2021 and they have stole 1,826.29 over a period of months since I cancelled their service. There is no access to the account, no way to remove my card information, as the account doesn't actually exist anymore. The new home owners were receiving their bills, so they either chose not to pay and allow the company to continuing having someone else pay for their bill without permission or they are paying and then this company is double dipping. I have had this ongoing issue with them, even when I was told it was taken care of, it clearly was not. I do not trust them, customer service is really awful, and claiming my account is closed and then stealing from me is not okay. Almost two years and still in this mess. I still want my money back and won't stop until it is returned. It is not my responsibility to pay strangers to flush their own toilets.

      If there was an option for no stars, that would be the real rating. It's a SHAME that you can't choose your water provider. I've never had more issues paying a bill than with this company. There is a text option available that will automatically charge your account when you respond YES to their text, that is no longer working according to one of their employees. "We haven't been using that in months", nobody alerted their customers. I was given a number to their billing service, Speed Pay, only to be told that they are not allowed to speak with Aqua customers. I called Aqua back, another associate told me the text service does in fact work. Not sure who to believe, this is the second time this has happened to me since I've had to get this service (6 months). Horrible experience, there is not one comment that has left an above star rating, yet this is rated as an A+? That makes absolutely no sense. Customer service doesn't even seem to be going on either by the responses I receive. This company needs to get looked into.

      Aqua water company needs to be closed down permanently! They are killing our pockets and communities with their contaminated water and extremely high priced water bills. I’ve never experienced so much mold in my bathroom in any home I’ve ever lived in and I know it’s due to the discoloration and contamination of the water. I change my shower curtains monthly due to the orange residue that builds up.., again nothing I’ve ever seen. The communities that have to use Aqua should band together and sue them because who knows of the potential damage this contaminated water can cause.
