    I own a week timeshare at eagle village and they recently got suspended from *** due to the property not being maintained to *** standards. I pay my maintenance fee every year and they are not maintaining the property. I have tried and tried to contact them and they will not answer the phone or return my calls. My maintenance fee, in the tune of $700+, is due January 1 and I refuse to pay until I know what is going on. If I can not deposit my week into the *** travel bank I no longer want this week and they can have it back. I did get someone to answer the phone back in September when *** first notified me they had suspended Eagle Village from ***. They said the board of directors would be sending out information soon and I have not received anything from them. I need to know what is going on. I'm not giving them anymore money until I hear something from them. I have held up my end of the bargain by paying my maintenance fees every year, what have they done with all the money that people have been paying?

    I booked this place as I use to take my older children there. My youngest child (change of life child) just started snowboarding and often heard his brothers talk about the Poconos and I wanted him to have the same experience my 3 older children had, which were great memories. Upon my older children agreeing to all be together I immediately canceled my original vacation to the ****************** and went online and specifically booked this resort....On Friday 2/17/2023 my children and daughter in law checked in. My son informed me that the place was "classic" as my daughter in law stated that it was "dirty" and "musty". I thought it was old but very livable -- I WAS WRONG! The place is GROSS and should not be rented at alllllllll.By Saturday one of my children had left because he got sick with a terrible cough and by Sunday when I GOT THERE allllllll of my children had a cough and were wheezing. Please note, my children are asthmatic, and this place was MUSTY. I realized as some as i walked in that the place was not just old it was NOT HABITABLE!!!!!!!1) As soon as you walk up the stairs, they are old and rotted, with a couple of spindles falling off. It's hard to see at night going up and down the stairs because the COBWEB is sooooo enormous inside the light that its practically black out. 2) The door which is some kind of metal substance has metal rust stains.3) Bedrooms were OK except there was always a TV in master bedroom and this room was missing the TV, leaving a family of 6 with 1 TV in the living room which didn't work. In addition, WIFI was terrible. The dresser in loft was turned backwards so you couldn't access the shelves and the paint was chipping.4) The couches were gross and older than I am. The wear was obvious. One had what appear like an oil stain that couldn't be removed. 5) The rugs had stains alllllllll over not just 1 stain.6) The bathrooms seemed to be a little clean but not thorough. The ******* in the master bath had mildew and the small bath had dirt/dust accumulated in the corners. 7) The vent was ABSOLUTELY GROSSLY loaded with dust and appeared to never have been cleaned. 8) Kitchen cabinet door was falling off and hanging on by 1 hinge.9) Dining room ceiling fan bulb did not have a cover.I think I have mentioned a lot of things that TRUELY need to be fixed for this place to be habitable. NOT ONLY DID I LOSE MY PRECIOUS VACATION TIME AND MONEY BUT I NOW HAVE 6 SICK FAMILY MEMBERS. Please Help...... What can be done????
