      Buyer Beware.
      Company is knowingly selling items that are defective and not advising customers. I purchased a bartisian cocktail maker from here. I returned it due to it being defective. I advised the staff it was defective. They waited a little bit. Then put the item back up for auction, with no mention of the item being defective.
      Ps side note- ive purchased many electronics. And most have been defective. But I didnt follow up which was my own doing. But knowingly putting a defective item up for auction and not advising the customer is a new level of dishonesty, corruption, deceit, duplicity, and untrustworthiness.

      2.10.2 Open Box - Open Box items were sold by a retailer, and potentially used before being returned by the customer. Open Box items may be damaged or have an opened box with missing pieces, so unless the condition of a specific item is explicitly stated, User should not make any assumptions other than the item may be ripped, scratched, non-functional or otherwise damaged. All Open Box items are sold AS/IS. MAC makes all items available for inspection prior to bidding, it is the responsibility of the User to inspect all items before placing a bid on the Site.
      Customers are always more than welcome to inspect many of our items before they place their bid. We actually encourage inspection before a bid is placed. We do offer the Buyer’s Assurance for many of our items as well. I will paste the Buyer's Assurance terms for reference.
      2.16. Buyers Assurance - A User may elect to purchase “Buyers Assurance” for any individual item in the auction. This purchase is elected at the time the bid is placed in the auction. The cost for this product is specified at the time a bid is placed. The price will not change as the bid increases. The Buyers Assurance product allows the User to return the Item, for which the product was purchased, within 5 Business Days following the pickup of the item. This return is treated as a Preferred Buyers Club return, and a reason is not required to process the refund. If an item is transferred from another location, the User is allowed to return the item within 5 Business Days following the pickup of item from the new pick-up location.
      If customers ever believe an item is not congruent to the listing, they can bring it in for a Manager Review. A manager would review the item and then compare it to the listing to see if a refund would be warranted. Customers always have 30 days from the close of the auction to ask for a review. A review can be done at any location. Reviews are at the complete discretion of the manager.
      Auction liquidation is very much a learning experience and it isn't always for everyone. It is our goal to give these items a second life by keeping them out of landfills while saving our customers up to 80% off of retail prices. If one follows our terms and conditions, auction liquidation can be a great thing for many people. Thank you.

      Ive bid on items and Im very satisfied with no problems . There items are in good shape Ive never at this point had any problems .. great service and friendly service even help me find items that are hard to find.. and friendly smiles ?????????? ??????????

      Items are NOT as described and you can NOT get them to answer the phone number they have listed. Also they will not reply to emails. Definitely a scam company!!

      After referencing the phone number and email address that are on file for this customer, this does not seem to be entirely the case. We only have 4 phone calls total spanning the total history of contact via phone. We only have one email thread through the history of email contact as well, which we initiated. If a customer ever has any questions or concerns, they are always able to reach out to our customer service department. **************** is available Monday through Friday 10am-6pm EST.       Beware of your invoices. I noticed when I buy several things their system will create a invoice with insurance fees that you didnt select in the bidding process. You can send a email to alert the company right away. However their reply time frame is 24hrs later. But after their system has charged your card.
      Once they have your money you can call and they wont do anything but change it. Upper management as they put it. Replies there is nothing they can do. If you dont pay it they will charge you a addition $10 and cancel your account. I won a case of water for $1.00 plus lot fees of $3.00 and taxes of .44. They added $7.00 to the invoice for insurance on water. Who does that? Another time recently i won a dress for $1.00 then charged a total of $11.44 with additional fees. With no solution. I stopped my payment on my items until i made contact with them. Only to be told its nothing they can do. My invoice total was $14.00 and with the added fees totaled $49.90 (insurance on $1.00 item) that were never requested. Claim they can only correct it in their system once in the lifetime. This cant be legal if the customer didnt request it. So now I cant do business with this company because I refuse to pay for there added insurance fees that I didnt opt into. Watch your invoices with all of there locations

      I have bought many items from Mac auctions and have been very happy. You have to read the descriptions and compare pricing. I bought 4 bags of dog food and went to mesa az location to pick up today. They could only find one bag. Needless to say I was not a happy buyer today. The manager said they would refund my $$ on the missing items. Max takes the money the next morning after you win your auction. However I was told it can take 7-10 days to get the $$ back in my account. I can understand if you decide you do not want what you bought. However when the product I paid for is not available for me to pick up I believe Mac auctions should be able to immediately refund your money. I have seen their replys to just about every complaint. I expect to see the same. Just beware that Mac auctions collects interest on your money for a week before they refund it to you.

      We thank you for this review. Once a refund is issued, which we do issue immediately, the time frame in which the funds become available on your bank account is up to your bank. Once ******* submits the request, the amount of time it takes to process is beyond our control. The credit card processor has direct control over how long this process may take.       Account hot suspended saying I'm trying to defraud the referral program. I have only ever received compensation for 1 referral and nothing more. Contacted customer service and got a rude agent who wasn't helpful and when I asked him to repeat his name he gave me an entirely different name then when I said that's not the name you gave me this dude hung up on me. Just completely unprofessional and won't provide reasons for why my account was suspended just said the decision is final. Not to mention they charge you a buyers premium and a $3 lot fee to pick your own items. This is the worst auction I have ever been to. I'll stick to the other companies who actually stand by their products and have way better customer service and i don't have to pick my own items and still get charged for it like they are doing s*** over there. Worst company ever.

We do try and find ways to give back and say thank you to our customers. The referral program is one of those ways. This is where a customer would receive an X amount of Mac Bucks (Store Credit) when they refer a friend and they bid. This situation was a little different. This customer was not referring any friends, but referring accounts that were linked directly to her original account. Our accounting department made these links and decided to suspend. I will cite our suspension policy for reference.2.3. Exclusion of ***************** or Amendment of Bids - Without limitation to any other remedies, ******* may exclude any User from any Auction and block any registration if the User has breached or threatens to breach these Terms and Conditions or engages in any behavior which ******* in its sole discretion regards as likely to have an adverse effect on the conduct of the Auction or the reputation of *******.       Wasted my time. Got an email that said my item was ready for pickup and I drove there and they said ur hadnt been put in a location yet. Why would you send an email to tell me my item is ready and I have 2 days to pick it up if its not ready to be picked up. Wasted an hour of my day and got nothing out of it. What a joke

When an item arrives to it's desired location, customers will then have 5 business days to claim the item from the date of it's arrival. The containers do get scanned in before the individual item. We do appreciate our customer's patience as our transfer business has grown exponentially.       I purchased a protection plan on a small amplifier only to receive a item missing the power cord and they refused to give me back my 7 dollars knowingly admitting that they never provided the information or description in the ad! I have literally purchased over $500 worth of items this year. I will think hard again before buying any electronics from these people. I contacted corporate and they said I should have looked at it ahead of time. Excuse me for not being a loser and having a job which is where all the money comes from for most of the auctions. This makes no sense.

      When I started with this group they had good products for great costs, Now for the past 3 times now have bought open box and they should have been listed as broken and non functioning and one item was not even what I bid on. tired of wasting gas and time returning items. They need to be honest in what they carry. Done with this company.

      This looks like a canned message I have seen on other reviews. I stand by my review and the past 3 items I have bid on have either been broken with major damage that suggests someone did not bother to really look at it or ignored the item or was a totally wrong item. Like i said tired or wasting my time returning items. This place has declined in service since I began with them and done with them.
