I have recently discovered that Torres Credit Service has reported a debt (July 2021) to at least one credit bureau without attempting to validate the debt first. Torres should have validated the debt before reporting to the bureaus and this transgression should be rectified and removed from my report.Business Response

Torres credited a negative hit to my credit without any means to communicate with the company to have the remark removed. Balance is paid as of October directly to the company that the balance was owed to. Yet I still am unable to contact Torres, their number is invalid, the website does not work and the address seems suspicious.Business Response

Torres Credit Service is a company I've have never done business with has reported a collection to all three credit bureaus in june. Each credit bureau list a different open date for the collection and also Torres Credit Service never contacted me any in way to perform a debt validation prior to sending this debt to the credit bureaus. The collection on my credit reports should be deleted immediately as there is no legal binding contract between Torres Credit Services and myself, and a debt validation process was not performed prior to them hurting my credit. They did so much damage this is not rightBusiness Response

All of a sudden Torres showed up on my credit report. I contacted them and was advised to contact ****. At first **** could not locate any account information. After several calls to them, they found that they merged several accounts belongingto someone else into an old account of mine (that exceeded 7 years). They added all of the balances together from someone elses account and reported it under my old account number. Torres was made aware of this (I advised and requested that they also speak to ****), yet it still remains on my report as a recent debt. I have not had an account with **** since 2013, which would exceed any reporting period, in addition to someone elses account being merged into mine. I am very disappointed in their business ethics and this should be removed.Business Response
