I had damage done to my new vehicle by the car wash. I filed a claim with the wash that day. I placed a call to them on 4-29-2025 and they stated that it would be resolved within 7-10 business days. At that point I was within that window. I have not heard anything from them so I placed a call with them today, 5-22-25. They stated that they do not know why I have not heard anything from the claims department and do not know anything about the claims department. There is also no way to contact the claims department to see why there has been no contact with me even though it has been longer than their policy states. They will not give me any contact information for the claims department and will not give me any emails so I have any proof that I actually filed a claim with them. I was also hung up on today and no return call. They also record the conversation without notifying you at the beginning of the call. I would like my wheel replaced due to it having around 2000 miles on it when the damage occurred.Business Response

I have read the response from Mr. ************ I asked to see the video with no respone to my request. They also took well over a month to respond to my claim and refused to reply until I got very upset and told them I was contacting the BBB about this treatment. I also called back multiple times after my denial to cancel my monthly service and they will not return my calls now, so I did leave a message stating that I would dispute any charges on my credit card from today on coming from them if they would not call me back. When my vehicle was damaged I felt a very hard jerk in my steering wheel from something hitting the truck. I immeiatly checked my truck when I got out of the wash and noticed a very large scratch and ***** on my wheel. I then went to an employee to report the incident without leaving the property. They completely lied about a prompt that I was being recorded. I left a message and was called back by customer service and was not notified at all about that. When I questioned it the service representative said both I was and wasn't being recorded, I asked which one it was? She said that it was at the beginning of the recordings, but she called me directly, so there were no recordings or messages to listen to. I also told them I would like the video to make sure they are not lying about what they have seen on their video.Regards,

I was hung up on again today by ******. I answered the phone and she said her part and hung up on me as I was asking a question. Very proper customer service by your company I would say. I only needed to know the exact date of my membership cancellation. I will never use your business again regardless of the end date. If you refuse to talk, a customer can not get any answers. The only time you guys respond to me is when I go through the BBB. I also requested the video yesterday through the claims department. There has been no response. I will be representing myself with small claims court so I will need it myself. You guys decide what is or isn't wrong with your equipment with no ability of the customer to see the footage. I'm aware of what you said in your above response but I have not received any information on the video yet, nor do I expect it from your company that has clearly shown to have very poor outcomes through the BBB. It has an F rating according to their site and you are not a member. The only good thing I can say about your company is that your employees other than customer service have been great. They are always friendly, especially one of the gentlemen at the ************************** location that always says hello to my girls when they are with me. They will miss talking to him. **************** is possibly the worst group I have ever encountered.Regards,

On 24 Feb 2025, approximately 230 PM, I went to ****** Car wash on South Ave in ******** to have my car washed. As my car and other cars are going through the car wash, the car behind me hit my car. After exiting the car wash I talked to the driver of the car behind me. She insisted that her car was in neutral and not her fault that her car hit mine. We talked to an employee of the car wash and he made a report on an electronic tablet. I was told that we would get a report of their findings within two weeks. I called ****** on 4 Mar 2025 and was told I would receive a letter of findings by 7 Mar 2025, I did not receive a reply. I called again on 10 Mar 2025 left a voice mail, and would receive a reply within 48 hours. No reply. Here it is 28 Mar 2025. I had my car repaired by an insurance claim to my insurance company (***********) $2500. My car is a 2022 ***** Eqinox ** which I recently purchased in late November 2024. *** the driver of the car that hit me did not have insurance. It is just unjustified that ****** would not even say it was not that fault. I know that they have an F rating hope to get it lower. LOL - I am the only one that was affected by this, cost me $500. deductible and maybe a raise in my insurance rates. Do me a favor, at least acknowledge that my complaint was received. Mr. Magic car wash on *************** in ******. severely damaged my right front fender. The car wash brush completely tore off my fender molding causing 310 dollars in repair bills. I filed a claim on 03-07-2025.The incident occured a day earlier. My damaged molding was found in the car wash by the manager.. My claim was denied via letter on 03-12-2025. This place is dangerous. Your damage report was filed on March 7th, 2025 claiming damage from your visit on March 6th, 2025 at our location on ***************. To ensure integrity amongst all parties, all damage claims must be filed at the conclusion of the wash while still on the property.
In addition, there are static liability signs post outside of the wash that states Mr. ********************** is not liable for damages on vehicles 10 years or older. This is a standard in the car wash industry. The vehicle in question is a 2015 Jeep Renegade.

On February 19, 2025 I went to the Mr. Magic Car Wash to get my vehicle washed. I pulled around to the entrance of the car wash an attendant directed me into the car wash motioning his hand to pull forward. I pulled my vehicle forward as per his direction. He never indicated for me to turn my wheel in any direction. Once on the track he displayed the red stop sign and pointed to the sign to put my vehicle in neutral and to take my hands off the wheel. Which I complied. As the track bumper caught my wheel my car began to move. Within seconds I heard a loud boom. The car wash came to an abrupt stop and the attendant approached me and stated that I had a flat tire. I said to him that was the loud boom and I know you heard it because I saw you look back at my car when it happened. I said you guided me into the wash and did not give me any other direction than to pull forward. He apologized to me and asked to pull out of the wash and he would do a damage claim and get me a new tire. He accepted responsibility for his actions.On February 21, 2025, I contacted **** and they gave me a repair cost of ****** so I paid the fee upfront so they would repair my car. Then I called Mr. Magic Car Wash I spoke with *** and she stated that after reviewing the video that I had aftermarket valve stems on my car so they were not going to cover the damage claim. I informed *** that my vehicle is a 2023 **** that I bought brand new off the lot and there were absolutely no aftermarket parts on the car. I informed her that I did not want to file a civil claim but I will if I have to. *** called me back on February 25, 2025 and stated that they would not be covering the cost because now after reviewing the video there was not a valve stem cover on the tire. I stated to *** that was because the valve stem was blown completely off the tire when my tire blew. She then commented there was previous damage, scratches on the rim so that is why they will not be covering the cost.Business Response

I went to the car wash last year and the attendant offered me a deal for 1 month unlimited car washes. They never mentioned a recurring monthly charge or "membership" and this transaction was operated by the attended at the kiosk. In reviewing my credit card statement this month I noticed the charge for the first time and then sorted on the company name and realized they have been charging me every month since last year. I research the company before I even realized who they were and found that many others have had similar experiences and even filed BBB complaints. I called their corporate head quarters and they acknowledged that I have not used their service since the first month. They offered a one month refund or 5 months of free washes. I was double charged for a car wash membership for a year an a half and Mr. ********************** wasnt willing to make it right. They offered to refund two months or give six months for free. That does not get close to the amount of charges they robbed me for. I did not authorize two memberships to be charged, only one. I was double charged on my credit card for four months and they agreed to give me 4 free months of car washes. I only received 1 free months(September) , but when I tried to get my free car washes in October (2024) they told me that my acct was suspended and they have no record of the agreement. I called today 10/15/24 and they told me that my actual license plate number doesn't match what they have on file and would not make amends with the next three months of free car washes. ****** *** **** wrote my license plate wrong on my contract with them. My correct license plate is *** ****. They don't believe me that they made the mistake when writing my license plate down. They won't give me my 3 months remaining on free car washes, which the first office in the main office said I'm entitled to. I talked to her on Aug 20th. The second employee told me that if their license plate numbers don't match, they aren't going to give me the 3 remaining months. I'm out $66 dollars.

Last Sunday June 16th I took my vehicle to the Mr. Magic car wash on University Boulevard in Moon Twp, when I got out to dry my car I noticed that the third brake light which is located at the very top by the roof of your car in the back. I noticed that it was damaged. The red plastic covering was cracked in two actually they had to stop the car wash to retrieve the broken piece, I called the young man over who was working there that his name was Nick he filled a damage report, he said the car wash would take care of it and that I would hear back from them in a few days, I kindly asked Mr. magic to replace the broken light it took five days and a phone call from to them me to get any information. They finally emailed me and said they were not going to replace the damaged light because they said there has been a defect with that light that they have noticed and said that they did research and sent me a link to the research which did not mention my vehicle which is a 2017 Lincoln MKX, they told me it was my responsibility. I’ve emailed them back and they refuse to get back to me. In the meantime I contacted the dealer where I purchased the vehicle. The service manager told me he did not find anything in his research that showed it was a defective part there is no recall for it and he has never had an issue with that light or has never had anybody bring back a vehicle to fix that light he said the car wash should be responsible that they have insurance that would cover that and think they would want customer satisfaction since I’ve been going to the car wash for years.
The part is $285 and it’s $170 an hour for labor so I am looking at over $400 to have this replaced, I emailed the car wash again about the cost and told them that I would be happy to split the cost with them again no response!!Business Response

reviewed footage of your vehicle going through the wash. There were no malfunctions or issues
with your wash. Reviewing the video also showed that the brake light cover fell off your vehicle
when there were no other mechanisms near it.
It is a reasonable expectation that your vehicle can withstand the mechanisms of a normal
wash. Plastic components of any vehicle can become brittle over time due to weather changes,
sun exposure, and normal wear.

I purchased a monthly membership to Mr. Magic Car Wash in June 2022 after they purchased the Jerry's Car Wash in the same location (where I was a patron for years). I bought a used car (black Jeep Grand Cherokee L) in February 2024 and immediately purchased a membership for Mr. Magic Car Wash for my new car. I probably went to the car wash 15-20 times in the past 6 weeks and noticed marks on my hood/doors that are very clearly from the brushes in the car wash. I asked the employee what could be done and he asked if I wanted to file a claim, which I did on Tuesday 3/12/24. The employee who helped me with the claim immediately said, "Oh yeah, I see what you're talking about" when he looked at my hood. The District Manager (Don) reached out to me on Monday 3/18/24 to set up a meeting to look at my car. He met me at the car wash on Tuesday 3/19/24 and after looking at my hood for all of 5 seconds, he claimed that the marks are not from the car wash. After talking for a few more minutes, I left upset and immediately called to cancel my membership. I asked the customer service rep what Don's job was (since Don never told me) and asked to speak to his manager. The rep told me that Don was the district manager and his bosses would be the owners, who do not speak to customers. So I asked what the next step in the claims process is, since I can't believe that their whole claims process is Don meeting customers and telling them "this is not from our car wash". I was transferred to the claims department, who told me that once the claim is denied, there is nothing else to do. This is unacceptable and I am seeking a payment from Mr. Magic Car Wash to get the marks on my car fixed as soon as possible.Business Response

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Since filing the complaint, I attempted to buff out the marks caused by the car wash (since they refused to do anything about it). My attempts to buff out the marks worked in some places, but have left visible residue behind where I did the buffing. After washing my car many time, the residue will not come out. So now I need to go get a professional body shop to help me get my car back to looking normal again. Because of this, I am requesting $250 from Mr. Magic Car Wash to cover the cost of the buffing kit I purchased + what it will likely cost me to get my car fixed professionally.

on 12/14/2023 9:24 am. I brought my 2019 white GMC canyon to Mr. Magic car wash. After exiting the car wash while drying my truck off I noticed that my antenna was damaged. I immediately notified the manager. He filed a complaint for me and said i would hear from them in 3 to 5 days. they emailed and said they were not going to pay for the repair, their video didn't show any damage. Thank you for bringing this matter to
our attention. We regret that you did not receive satisfactory resolution to
your complaint. At the entrance at all of our locations we have signage stating
that we are not liable for any damage to antennas. There also seems to be some
confusion in regard to our response, as it was never stated in our email that
the video did not show any damage, nor did we deny that it happened in the
wash. We simply stated the equipment was working correctly, and as a result, this
is not something that we would cover per our policy regarding antennas. Please
see below for a copy of our response:
“This email is in response to the damage claim
filed on December 14th, 2023. We have carefully reviewed video of your vehicle
entering the car wash and throughout the wash process. The findings of that
video confirm there were no irregularities with your wash, as the car wash
equipment was verified to be functioning correctly at the time of your wash. A
physical inspection of the equipment also confirmed there were no defects or
malfunctioning parts which could have caused any damage to your vehicle. As per Mr. Magic’s long standing posted policy
regarding antennas, we are not liable for any damage incurred when the
equipment is working properly. As a result of these findings, it has been
determined that Mr. Magic Car Wash will not be assuming any liability regarding
this incident. We do appreciate you as a customer and hope you
