We moved out of our old home on 4/23/2025. The movers scratched our walls up and down the steps to the point we had to hire a painter to come in the next morning before we close and the new owners move in. They did not protect our carpets with runners as promised, did not use TV boxes as i "paid" for and did not use mattress boxes as i "paid" for. We had gotten new carpet and painted the house the summer of 2024. We had 6 movers that day, I was promised 5. The next day at the new house on 4/24/2025 once again no carpet protecters and of course no mattress boxes or tv boxes because they weren't in it the day before. The crew showed up with only 4 guys, not 5 as promised. So the move in took ***** hours longer than quoted. We even got them pizza for dinner and I am sure they charged us for sitting around for a 1/2 and hour eating. Once they moved everything in they started putting our beds together. Our $7,000 sleep number bed does not work. It worked the day before, before they broke it down. The bed is missing a side button to control the bed and it is missing a bracket to hold the control box. The bed wouldnt connect to wifi or bluetooth. **** came back several times to try and fix the bed, he finally ***** rigged it to make it go up and down. We still do not have a side button or bracket. It is still not fixed fully. Gosh for bid he call sleep number and have a tech come fix our bed. When they moved us in on Thursday, they couldnt move our 800lb save in becuase of the "Crew" they had. They had to come back the next day and move it in. They only brought 4 people and didnt have the proper equipment per ****. When they moved it in, they broke our sliding glass door. They broke the track, it broke in pieces. We have not paid the bill yet because they wanted to fix it, we have yet to receive the bill. We have not heard from them in over a month. ***** and **** will not answer my calls or text and no one at the office will pick up the phone.Business Response

Hello, I’m so sorry Matt has since been removed from the company. I think due to some of this delay, but he might be coming back. I know he had a lot on his plate. I do apologize. We can surely get this figured out. I’m going to look through your claim and then somebody from our corporate office will be in touch with you.Customer Answer

On May 7th 2025 I had Miracle Movers, move house hold items from ******************************************************************* to my new address **********************************************************The Mover men dropped a large piece of furniture down a flight of stairs and I noticed the following day when I was going to put my clothes in the furniture that there is a large crack in the wood ( it also split the wood in half) and also the top of the piece of furniture was loose and screws had stripped out of the wood .I have called many time after I noticed this issue with the furniture. I finally got ahold of someone named **** about a week later who is supposed to be in charge of their claims ***** he asked me to sent him photos of the damage. So I did. A month has gone by now and I have tried calling to follow up on this issue with **** several times, I have also sent emails to their contact email and left messages on ***** phone but **** nor anyone else will answer my calls or emails. I have no idea if they are working on this issue, I have asked in my left phone messages and emails what is the next step..Do I have to fill paper work ? What am I supposed to to do to get this issue resolved? Again no one will take my call or answer my emails .. I feel like they are tring to blow me off till my 90 days runs out to file a complaint or something Please help I don't know what to do about thisBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Even though Miracle movers responded to my complaint with the BBB and left a written statement from a ****** Ziffiro with his phone number for me to call, I still have not getting a response from him or his company over the phone with myself
Ive left 2 messages since Ive gotten the reply through the BBB .
I would think after someone like myself has gone and filed a complaint with the BBB that a company would respond in a timely manner. These people never answer their phones
If they wanted to make this right they could have called me but instead they are playing this cat and mouse game . They have everything that they need to contact me ive called nad left messages, Ive sent them pictures before I connected the BBB and now all that information and pictures they have again with my description of my complaint with the BBB.
I really don't know what else to do

The movers arrived with very few moving blankets to cushion my furniture. It was also raining, and despite assurances to the contrary the previous day, they did not bring any floor protection.
This would not have been too problematic, as my belongings were moving only 1 mile, and I loaned them some additional moving blankets. After they had loaded the truck, they then took a detour to a local gas station and market, which resulted in a very bumpy 3.5 mile trip over roads that were under construction.
In addition to the personal property damages reported to Miracle Movers, they also chipped the concrete steps to the basement and damaged a door frame by repeatedly ramming a bookshelf into it. I reported the damage to Miracle movers on October 23 and they scheduled a representative from AM Mills to come out on November 20, 2023 to assess the damage and effect any repairs that could be made. After the report was given to MM (I was not given a copy), MM sent me a "Standard Proof of Loss and Damage Claims" form on December 8 and this was returned on December 26, 2024. According to Andrew Zeffiro, the principal of MM, this claim was being processed and I have made multiple attempts over the last 9 months to contact both Mr. Z****** and Matt M****** *he claims adjuster, to get resolution for the damage. Mr. M***** will not return calls, and Mr Z****** has only offered sympathy and promised to look into it. On August 16, Mr Z****** made a verbal offer of $400, and has since not answered calls or returned messages.Business Response

Hello,
Our claim process is a bit backed up in recent months due to a new more efficient system they are using. However, it has had a lot of pushback with timing just for the initial start up.
unfortunately *** ***** has been waiting for some time. With the coverage chosen we can pay out around $400, however I know that wasn’t initially suitable with some of the issues ***** had experienced.
would **** be willing to settle for $750? If so I can write a check and get this settled. I’m more than happy to pay the extra if it will make our client more satisfied. I do apologize this has taken so long.
thank you!

Movers were to come 7/2 but did not have enough workers & rescheduled for 7/3. Workers came 7/3 but spent most of the time on cell phones, drank all water & soda in the house then when 1 truck was loaded several workers took truck to new location and left it on the street unattended for 2 hours & workers went home. Three others remained & loaded second truck & then came to new location & unloaded both trucks until 9pm. Original quote was for $1500.00. At no time did anyone advise me that cost would double when 2nd truck was involved. Also, original quote was e-mailed & this quote was taken down & the new quote of $3,053.50 replaced it. Mover did provide a small discount for the idle truck. Workers helped themselves to food/snacks on my table without my permission & the younger ones did little or no work at all. Furniture was damaged & refrigerator was scratched. Also, one worker borrowed my I-phone charger & has not returned it. Mover may have damaged a crystal chandelier valued at $3,000. It is buried somewhere & I cannot locate it at this time. Movers did not pay attention to contents of boxes
& just stacked them hurriedly. Also, they took mirrors, etc. apart & just left bolts and hardware anywhere. They did not put my mirrors (very heavy for me to lift) back in place & did not set up headboard to bed. I had to call constantly for this to be done. It took 1 week for them to come & fix it. They definitely did not know how to do their jobs. Mover was provided pictures & advised of all of this information. I have called movers repeatedly since the move & was advised Andrew would call back with information. I have had no settlement since nor has my I-phone charger been returned. This company is unethical, unprofessional, deceitful & should not be permitted to operate. There were a few workers who did try to do their jobs; but it was clear that none of these individuals were properly trained to do this type of work.Business Response

This has been going on for 1 month. I call and am informed that Andrew will contact me but it never happens. No claim forms have been sent to me nor has an adjuster contacted me regarding my situation. As for the I-phone charger, yes they did attempt to give me a charger but it was indeed the wrong one. Since then no other attempt to return the charger has been made. It is very frustrating to deal with this company.

The estimator promised a quick move. Supposed to send 2 crews and 2 trucks. 4 laborers total. Only one truck showed up with 2 people whom were reluctant to work the job. Everyone moved slow. 1 other laborer came hours later after they already showed up up 2 hours late. This worker was definitely intoxicated as passed out in the truck. We found several beers at the property and the gentlemen made us very uncomfortable. They were unable to move everything as promised due to the fact they didn’t bring the promised crews. Finally after 10 PM they had an additional 4 workers showed up. Several times the crew had taken breaks and stopped work. Which is fine of course, but it more looked like a strike as they were frustrated with management. After almost 11pm when it was all said and done Dru the manager/owner almost tripled our original estimate of $1447 to $3700. At this point we needed these people out of our home. They unloaded almost everything in the basement instead of placing it in the designated rooms. All of the boxes clearly labeled. They failed all promises of the move and then charged us over 2k more. Unethical. Our complaint is in regards to the estimate promise of moving us quickly with 2 crews. They were unable to move everything and overcharged. We felt like prisoners, waiting for them to unload our all of our belongings, and then having 6 people in our home after 11pm demanding over $3500 for the agreed move of ALL of our belongings. Which did not happen, we now have to either hire another moving company, rent a capable vehicle and move the rest ourselves. We would never allow the company near our homes again
We are willing to discuss with local media and provide picturesBusiness Response

Miracle Movers was contracted to move me on Friday, 9/9/22. Initial estimate was for 5 movers, 2 trucks, 7 hours & 15 minutes. Scheduled to arrive between 9-9:30 but was informed they would be 15 mins late. They were actually an hour and 15 mins late. Only 1 truck arrived and the 2 men waited another 45 mins for the 2nd truck with 2 add'l men to arrive. Nothing was done in the meantime. The 5th man didn't show up until approx. 45 mins after the 2nd truck. Nothing was wrapped when being moved from the house to truck, contrary to their promise to "wrap your belongings before we move one thing." When leaving the house, one of the trucks was backing into the parking lot but misjudged and ran up over the corner of the property leaving huge ruts in the yard. They did not put all items in the correct rooms and a number of items were broken: 2 televisions, an adjustable bed frame, ceiling tile & metal frame were damaged while moving furniture into basement. The couch in the basement was left on its back. They did not put adjustable bed frame together, leaving the connection box on the window sill. They scratched the wall while trying to carry a futon upstairs. We had to take the bed apart for them to move it. When leaving they left ruts in neighbor's yard. When leaving they left wrappers and water bottles in the driveway. I have contacted the company regarding these matters and they agreed to reimburse me for the damaged televisions and to repair the lawn at the original address, but no action has been taken. I followed up and was told they'd take care of it right away. It has been over 2 months and I've had no response from them.Business Response

Hello,
We absolutely were to process a reimbursement for the television and get a landscaper out to fix the rugs. I’m not sure what happened here but we are going to jump on this right away. We also had some mail returned to us in the month of late September/early October so I’m wondering if check was returned.thanks you and we will seek resolution to this customer right away.
