    Schedule my vehicle for an oil change, but the dealership forgot to add oil back into the vehicle. The light for low oil and needing service didn’t come until a day after I picked it up. I ended driving it between 75-100 miles before the light came, the dealership did reset the gauge on the dash so it said it had 100% oil left even though there was barely any it, when I checked, it was barely touching the bottom of the dipstick.
    When the light came on it was on a Sunday so the dealership wasn’t open, I went to tractor supply (only store that was open in town) and bought oil to put in it.
    The service manager called me the two days later (Tuesday) and I spoke with him and explained what happened and how much oil I needed to add and he questioned it saying it only needs ten quarts of oil and I said yes that is correct, 10q=2.5 gallons (size jug of oil I bought at TS). I put around 8 quarts of oil in it checking the dipstick as I was going which brought it up to where it should have been.
    Fast forward to today (Friday, Sept 1 23) I received a call from the dealership saying that I overfilled it by 6 quarts which is a lie because it was barely touching the the bottom of the dipstick when I checked the day after getting it back from the dealership. So let’s do some math, vehicle takes 10 quarts, dealership said I over filled it by six quarts by putting in 8 quarts, which means if this true then they only put eight quarts into to begin with and would have shown on the dipstick and wouldn’t have caused the low oil light to come on. Bad service and then tried to cover it up by lying and I asked them if they checked the head gaskets to see if the rings were scorched and they said nothing.
    I would avoid this dealership if you can.
    Prior time they over filled my oil and had to do it all over again, so there is very little oversight and quality checks.
