    Dear ******,

We are very sorry and we are not ignoring this situation. We were scheduled to be there last week to look at this issue and our technician was sick. The issue you are experiencing as mentioned earlier, is not related to maintenance. Our company did not install your generator and the issue you are experiencing would have been pre-existing. When we perform maintenance, we are changing out the filters and the oil and cleaning the unit up from any debris. Carbon monoxide is produced from bad emissions coming from the engine and is not related to the maintenance of your generator.

We do plan on sending a technician out to look at the issue you are having and will be calling to schedule that. Since it is not related to maintenance, we may be billing for this service. If there are any concerns that you have about this, please call our office today at ************ and we would be happy to discuss the options we can provide you for this.

    Sincerely,

    **** Monyer

     Complaint: 22017869

I am rejecting this response because:

The condition was not pre existing. It occurred due to a faulty, poorly installed air cleaner during your February 2024 service.

I am sorry but this is not right and you may have been misinformed. There is no way to poorly install and air filter. They only go in one way. We also are not the manufacturer of these air filters. We use genuine Generac made parts for the generators. If a technician told you that the air filter that we put in was faulty, that would be a manufacturer defect and not something that we would have done to cause the issue with excessive carbon monoxide. I'm not sure we deserve this negative review for something like this. It sounds like you should be contacting Generac to discuss the poorly manufactured part. Our technicians would not have been able to create an environment for you to experience excessive carbon monoxide. We have also been trying to contact you for a few weeks with no response to offer you a free air filter so that we can send the bad one back for a warranty defect. Please call us back if you are interested in that resolution. Leaving an unwarranted bad review is not helping the situation that we had been completely open to resolving.

I am rejecting this response because: Your company has performed the annual maintenance since the unit was installed. The air filter that was removed was wet and bent on one side. The unit was not running properly because of the filter. There was no pre-existing condition as you initially claimed or your technicians would have discovered it in previous services. I have received one voicemail from your company about inspecting the unit since this issue. I will no longer be using Monyer as I do not trust your service. We could have died because you didnt service the unit properly. That is the bottom line. You take no accountability, you simply want to have a clean record. I still wish to receive a refund from Monyer for the poor service ($299) plus $145 to cover the cost of service from an emergency dealer who recognized the extreme situation.

On 3/8/2023 I received an email from the owner of Monyer Electric demanding I pay $1,190 to label two ******* Load Centers (electrical panels). This was my reply to Monyer Electrics demand:-This installation took the whole day and the team did not have the time to label the two electrical panels and check if everything was working fine.-There are three mistakes made with their work: -The four heavy ceiling fans are now on a circuit breaker which occasionally pops up. -One area with small flood lights is not wired. No switches will turn them on. -One area has two on-off switches to turn on-off the same ceiling light.************** said these issues would be corrected, when possible, Covid-19 contributed to the delay. During 2021-2022, ***** told me, on a few occasions, he would schedule this work. Nothing happened, and in late 2022, I learned he was not working at Monyer Electric any longer. I want to say that ***** impressed me with his technical knowledge and he would give me the highest level of customer service regardless of how long it would take. In addition, one Monyer Electric technician recently visited the house to evaluate how much work would be required. He was also made aware of the three mistakes listed above. Most importantly: this technician was part of *****s team when the electrical panel replacements were done and the work could not be completed. At the time of work done in 2020 panel labeling was included; the team was asked to follow the same labeling using the documented old panels labeling; but it did not. The installation cost was $3,400.As of 3/11/2013 Monyer Electric has not replied to my email.
