I came in on 11-10-23 to pick up a preoredered new Tesla model Y. After signing paperwork, I walked out to the car and noticed a defective uneven warped front hood. Reps ****** took the vehicle to service dept to try and fix but the issue ended up worse than before. After discussing options with reps, I felt it would be safer for my family to get a different vehicle. If visible defect was overlooked what other unseen issues lies within. Our request was denied by Operations Advisor *****, who states that once a vehicle is registered to me, no one can, and that I cannot unregistered a vehicle. I pleaded for a different vehicle but he said there is nothing he or anyone can do after numerous requests to speak to a manager. I feel that this is a bait and switch scheme. I felt this type of business is predatory made me feel so helpless. I left the dealer without the car. Please help.

Upon purchasing the vehicle from Tesla, I noticed that the driver's door would rub with the front side panel. Requested this to be repaired. My car was in the shop for about 3 weeks in repair. A couple of days later, all of the features for which I bought the car for stopped working. Called Tesla, they said that to recalibrate the cameras. That didn't work after trying multiple times. Called again, they told me that my car had Recall which meant the front Camera had to be adjusted and it would take about 20 minutes in the shop. Brought the car in, they said the coax cable was damaged and that's why nothing was working. Next time they said the new cable was defective. Upon leaving Tesla, the back seat would not fold down. So I made an appointment for that and the coax cable at the same time. The day before my appointment 2 damaged tires while driving so my car was towed to Tesla. The person I spoke to said they could replace the tires would be able to be replaced the same night, I asked if I could just leave my car (since I live about 1 hr 30 mins away) for the other repairs to be performed too, and he said they would be able to get it done the next day. The next day I noticed on the Tesla App on my phone that they had moved the estimated completion to a week after. I asked "Why did they move the date?" and was told people called out of work and they wouldn't be able to get to my car till then. I asked for my car back after they replaced the tires and asked if they would be able to at least replace the backseat latch through mobile service and set up a later service appointment for the replacement of the coax cable for the camera. Today 8/29/2023 when I went to the service appointment, after a while that they worked on the car they messaged me and told me the car would have to stay in the shop because they don't have the part that they were supposed to replaced, even though they told me multiple times that they were going to perform all the service needed.
