    I was so excited to join the #recteq family a few weeks ago, have a few friends who swear by them, and I jump on the wagon, the honeymoon was great.... until it wasnt... after several AMAZING interactions with Rec Teq Mafia tech team as I'm totally new to Pellet grills and smoking , we had a few "hiccups" but overall the guys were amazing and took care of me but than... I started having some issues with the system not keeping Temps and overheating and discovered while on call with a tech that whomever build mine in ***** didn't weld it properly and I was having all kind of grease leaks among other issues, the reps solution was to send me a new one, for me to disassemble the old unit and pallet it for them and then assemble the new one.... unfortunately, here in ** now the Temps are 100 plus daily, I'm a disabled veteran and definitely not tech savvy and I just don't have it in me and requested that a handyman or alike be sent to handle it, I was transferred to a "supervisor " (******) who was EXTREAMLY unprofessional and rude to the point he literally told me "well, did you read our warranty? All i have to do is supply you with parts or replacement" and "if you can't BBQ in 100 plus degrees than you should not own a BBQ (WTF), kept talking over me in a condescending way and than basically told me.."how about we just refund you your money and u can do whatever u want with it but we don't need customers like you"... now, I told him, I don't want my money back, I want a working assembled grill and not a defective one but it was going nowhere...so I remembered *** the owner posting his number a few weeks back and called hom cold turkey...*** was polite, listening even mentioned how "****** can be a **** at times" asked me to give him time to look into this and not to worry as "ill make you happy"... ok... he even asked me to go to the parts store and by some high temp sealant to put in the grill meanwhile which I did... than... silence... send him couple of texts...
