I wish I would had looked this information up first. Because I sent my information and now they have all my business and check info. I will stop payment and pay the fee opposed to them cashing the check

This company is a very sneaky scam. If you read the disclaimer in small letters on the back it has a warning that this isn't a bill just a service they provide.

SCAM garbage, received 2 separate letters immediately after registering my biz. Whoever is doing this is absolute bottom of the barrel scum.

Labor Poster Compliance LLC and its affiliate have sunk to new depths of deviousness. Not content with one letter, they've sent two masquerading as compliance notices. The document mimics an official federal court violation notice, a calculated attempt to deceive. A whispered confession in fine print admits non-governmental status, but the truth remains: this is an attempt to ensnare.Don't be fooled by their small show of candor. This scheme lures innocents into buying what's freely available downloadable and printable documents. They extract from the vulnerable, immigrants, impaired, and the uninformed. This enterprise flirts with illegality, armed with fine print disclaimers and elusive responses. A fraudulent operation, using a PMB in a ***** center as their lair. May the charlatans face scrutiny, and let their legacy crumble. They thrive on the innocence they exploit and sow despair. A plague upon honesty, a blight upon decency. I will not stand idly by and let people trying to better their lives be taken for a ride.

Do your research and you won't be scammed. You can get these documents free to print on your own from the department of labor website. You don't have to pay for them.

My new business was approved by the State of Louisiana Secretary of State office on 5/30/2023 and on 6/10/2023 I received a mailing from Labor Poster Compliance. The mailing looks like it came from a government agency but the address when searched online led me to The UPS Store #2070. The mailing stated that I must have these posters of face a stiff fine and touted Federal Laws. The mailing said to send a check or money order for $86.25 for these posters, which I already know after working in Human Resources for several years and actually free directly from The State. The mailing also violates USPS laws, because it shows a Suite for their address not the required "PMB" or "Box no." requirement. I searched BBB and found the information about the legal rulings again Labor Poster Compliance, so I printed it out and mailed it back to them in them in the return envelope they provided and put my return address PO Box on the envelope so they know I cannot be scammed by them. I have to wonder if these are the same people who sent me the scam mailing I received on 6/6/2023 from Louisiana Certificate Services and the mailing I received on 6/9/2023 From EIN/Tax ID Application Assistance.

Labor Poster Compliance LLC and an affiliate selling marked-up Certificates of Good Standing have issued 2 letters now posing as an official compliance notice. The document issued is clearly an attempt, albeit within an acceptable measure of difference, to impersonate a violation notice issued by a federal court.
They make the bare minimum of effort at stating that they are a Non-Government publisher in a fine print paragraph. Any reasonable person can immediately see the intention of the letter is an attempt to deceive people into purchasing a product that simply does not need to be purchased from a third party. The documents are free to download and print from personal work stations country-wide.
The attempt at extracting a profit from those individuals who may not be aware of the actual requirements, may not have proficiency in English to understand that this is not an official document, or that have some impairments of learning, memory, or otherwise be unable to fully understand the context of this notice is despicable. This business borders on illegal and it is acutely aware of that fact as is demonstrated in the fine print disclaimer and in its responses.
They are a SCAM. They have ZERO legitimacy. They are even using a PMB in a FedEx mail center to run this, and likely numerous other scams. I hope the bottom feeding founding shysters are subject to the scrutiny they deserve in due time.

The same thing happened to me. I started an llc and received an official looking letter. It cost me $79.25. Any way to get the money back? Or to stop this scammer?
