purchased a warranty and when i had car repaired they warranty company is only paying $690.89 of on a bill that's $1819.06 so i'm responsible for $1128.17 plus my deductible of a $100.00. the contract is very shady. why would anyone want a warranty where they have to pay out of pocket the manager i spoke with stated they pay only wholesale price on parts to repair shops.. really that is crazy.

Paid for a warranty from vetrans. Took the car to a shop as instructed who immidietely told us good luck. ******* is known for not paying for repairs. We tried anyways as when you buy a warranty it should cover your car. They have given us every run arround and excuse not returning calls for days. Finally when we stated we would get a lawyer they go we arent going to fix it. We will just refund you. Absolutely avoid this company with a passion. Nonstop headaches and utter fraud from this company. Wish they had better bussiness practices. This was for a 2019 *****.

On Oct 22nd I purchased a 2017 Jeep Patriot which included a 90-day powertrain warranty service by veterans Auto warranty Incorporated. The purchase price of the vehicle was 7900 dollars. After various fees I gave the dealer 8142 dollars cash. On November 6th the vehicle was experiencing trouble shifting and the check engine light came on. I returned it to the dealer that same day and approximately 1 month later I was informed it required a transmission replacement. Despite the transmission being covered by my vehicles warranty veterans warranty and corporated deny my claim. They said they had the vehicle inspected by a third party and denied the claim based on that third party's report however they refused to give me a copy of the report or even identify the third party they used. The warranty had a 1250 dollar limit of liability and a $100 deductible. Estimates on the repairs have range from $2,000 to $7,000 depending on if I want a new or used transmission. I strongly feel that veterans warranty should pay their share which is $1,150.Veterans warranty may have this file under my wife's name **** ********. when I call them they usually ask me for the last six digits of the *** number which are ******

On 6/28/24, I purchased a 2016 ***** truck, from West Islip Auto sales for ~$26,000. The first day I looked over the truck I told the sales manager, the owner, and the salesman that the transmission fluid was black and that the transmission was acting up, slamming into gear, etc.. At that time, I was promised/assured by the sales manager that after any required NYS dealer warranty, any TRANSMISSION issues with this vehicle would be covered by Veterans Auto Warranty. On 9/4/24, after putting just ***** miles on the vehicle, the transmission failed, stalling the truck in the middle of a 4 lane highway, stranding me, and I had to get it towed home!! After having it towed again, to a very reputable Transmission Business, Veterans Auto Warranty made an inspection of the vehicle, and refused to cover any work on the transmission stating it was a pre-existing *************, weeks later, (today is 9/25/24) I am still waiting for any type of written report on their final determination of how they determined this? The vehicle has now been sitting for almost 3 weeks at a very busy shop.. Waiting for the stealership and or VETERANS AUTO WARRANTY TO KEEP THEIR CONTRACT! WARNING: DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT! Regardless of the status of my particular transmission issue, this company historically fails to provide repairs on the majority of claims, as a matter of fact,  just look over their reviews, they historically do not provide any written reports of their findings..  Then this "guy" Sal gives just them the runaround..   The way these people operate, the client never really gets a straight answer or any written words.  So you will never really know what the issue was..  This company relays on praying on the unsuspecting consumer. By all rights they should be shut down by our own *Government..  "but this is just the way *they want it,,, *they get it."   Humans simply cannot be trusted anymore...

To Whom it may concern:My vehicle transmission faulted out 05/02/25. 05/10/24 marks 1 yr of having my vehicle. It seem as if no one is picking up the phone at all rings then voicemail. When some gentleman finally picked up he had little attitude and stated that's not my department. After calling around 30 times (no lie) and leaving numerous messages . I finally spoke to a young lady who helped me by getting me a supervisor. The Supervisor I spoke with was being a smart a@@ but in a way so she won't get in trouble. long story short the inspector needs to send the claim to start the process on my car and has not yet done so. The customer service from The Veteran's ****************** needs to be replaced. Except for the young lady who actually got me to a supervisor after my 30th attempt. I've been a week without a car and I have to work and take my son to and from school while working with no car. That company needs customer service training.

I purchased a vehicle in January. On February I started hearing a ticking noise under the hood. Took it to the shop with my warranty. They determined it was a worn rocker arm which i was informed is common my this vehicle. Veterans talked to the shop on the phone rather than send the inspector to look at it. They denied the claim. After going back and forth they finally did send the inspector. Shop said inspector showed up and took pictures and left. Again they denied the claim. They claim it was long term damage that happened over time and I only put 502 miles on the vehicle so it must have been going bad before the purchase. Although there was no check engine light no misfire no nothing except it began making a noise. They can't seem to tell me how I should have known if there was a problem with no signs of a problem. Like I'm supposed to tear the engine down and inspect internal parts before buying a car. So now I'm out $1300. And have a useless warranty Veterans is a scam. They collect your money and find any reason to not warranty the claim. I wish I saw these reviews before.

The warranty is supposed to be used if I have a problem with the car. Nowhere does it say they only pay Book value for a car with a defect. The book value for the jeep was four or $5,000, but with a bad transmission it's $162.Just doesn't make sense.

I am rejecting this response because: when they say I was paid in full, I was told that they pay $2,300 **** I got $650 for a transmission. They told me that the book value for a car with a bad transmission is only $650 and that's what I received.

I bought the warranty plan from a dealer for my 2014 ****** ********. When the car had problems they did everything to not pay for repairs. No one I spoke with over the phone had any idea what they were talking about regarding parts of the cars and what the vehicle needed. The place is a scam and no one should be selling this.

      Dear *** *******,

I am writing on behalf of Veterans Auto Warranty, Inc. as their Compliance Officer in response to the above referenced matter.  Pursuant to our ordinary business policy, an inspector was sent out.  As a result, it was determined that there was a failure of the clutch from normal wear and tear over time, which is a non-covered item.  The remaining issue appears to be the vehicle popping out of gear, which requires additional tear down.  The tear down was offered to *** *******, however he did not wish to proceed. Without the tear down, it is impossible to determine what the true cause of the transmission failure and whether it is covered under his policy.

Thank you and for your time and courtesies.  Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

      Very truly yours,

I have an extended auto warranty with a long list of covered repairs. My rear differential failed and it is clearly stated that my plan covers the repairs. After weeks of waiting and having no car, the company did not want to cover any of the repairs due to their "strict" guidelines. They said upon inspection, the differential cover was taken off by the mechanic, and the failure was caused by a leak in diff cover gasket, causing low fluid and high heat.. It is literally impossible to say it was leaking/detect a leak when the cover was already taken off/ fluid was drained prior to them arriving.. it is a straight up lie and fraud so they do not have to cover the repair. I will bring this to court because this scam needs to end. Paying thousands for a warranty, and when you need their help they lie and find a way out of paying/helping their customers.

      Dear *** *******,

I am writing on behalf of Veterans Auto Warranty,
Inc. as their Compliance Officer in response to the above referenced matter.  Upon review of the inspection report, a
number of items are apparent.  There is a
large accumulation of metal filings and debris in the fluid inside the
      differential case.  The parts themselves
are discolored and black, which is cased by high heat.  High heat is caused by increased friction due
to lack of lubrication.  The differential
leaked due to a maintenance item, i.e. poor seal.  Maintenance items, such as gaskets of this
nature are not covered under this contract.
I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

      Dear *** *******,

I am writing on behalf of Veterans Auto Warranty,
Inc. as their Compliance Officer in response to the above referenced Complaint.  Upon review of *** *******’s complaint, it
appears that he had a contract that includes road side assistance.  Road side assistance is a third-party
contractor, over which Veterans Auto Warranty, Inc. has no control.  The Company according to *** ******* did not
arrive in a timely manner, so *** ******* took it upon himself to hire a
different tow company.  He is now seeking
reimbursement for the monies he spent.
Additionally, it should be noted that *** ******* advised the claims
department that after the breakdown he had driven the car to his home.  His business arrangement with the tow company
that he chose to hire is a matter between the tow company and *** *******.  At no time was he authorized to retain

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
Because they are lying and this is so crazy

      as mentioned

I live in queens I drove to Staten Island as I came off the bridge my car signal over heat on the dashboard I pulled over and examined my car the coolant pipes was broken  underneath I wasnt able to drive or else it would have caught  fire I begun  searching for help I call Veterans warranty to provide me with service as I have bought a $4000 3 years warranty and tow service is provided as mentioned on the warranty as one of their many services . The time I contacted them was between 2pm-3pm after giving them my location and all the necessary information they told me they will send a tow . I called back serval time they was still searching for a tow (this is New York City) tow is available 24/7 . But actor them they was not able to locate a tow so I waited u *** 9pm I called back and the last lady which I spoke to told me I can get a my own tow and they will reimburse me. If for somehow the car could have been driven home I would do it that's a lie . Why would I waited 6+ hours in the cold ?? After I confirm with the lady that they will reimburse me my money I took 3 minutes and call my own tow which drop the car back in queens to a local neighborhood mechanic I payed $350 for the tow as attached via picture . I want my money back this is unfair and bad service I regret paying $4000 for bad customer service warranty company I will never recommend them to anyone I almost freeze to death waiting and waiting this is so sad they a company try to steel $350. Which ever third party company they work with is not my concern my concern is picking me up and dropping me the location and you guys couldn't do it for me . All my calls and conversations was recorded by the company who took the call for Veterans warranty .
