    For 2 weeks now the crew that is set to our ******************* and ***************** on Tuesdays for garbage pick up has failed to pick up anybodies garbage on time to the point that 2 days later a different crew has to go out of their way to pick it all up. The company is leaving people on hold until the calls drop because they know about the issue and won't fix it. If it keeps happening animals and bugs will start tearing into people's garbage making a huge mess

    We had a truck issue two weeks ago that caused some service disruption, and this was corrected and all trash has been recovered.  We have met with the City on how we corrected this issue.  However, this claimant is stating she is placing her garbage  on Michigan & ***** which is not where 955 Sycamore would place their trash, this could be contributing to the issue.  The correct placement for ************************************* the City of ***********  Thank you

    We had a mechanical breakdown in that service area which put the crews behind, this situation has been corrected and there were no issues this past week.  We apologize for the issue and did our best to recover the trash as soon as we could.

    Paid for trash removal, wasn't picked up last week. Called twice and was told it would be taken care of. Supposed to be here today but it's 3pm and not looking good. Trash is piling up, my township is gonna fine me. Just want it picked up, I paid for this service to be done weekly, not when they feel like it.

    Big's Sanitation has been contracted by *************** to pick up recycling within their Municipality.  *********** is following the PA DEP mandate that all residents are required to recycle.   If the claimant wants exempted he needs to call *************** where he will be required to provide proof of recycling on his own.  Once he does that Canton Twp will call Big's and grant an exemption.  If this process is not followed we will be required to keep billing/servicing, this is a Canton Twp mandate not a Big's Sanitation mandate.  The number for Canton Twp is ************.

    My original complaint had nothing to do with recycling, it was just regular trash pickup. I paid for a service that I wasn't receiving, the matter is now resolved because I switched trash companies.

    Bigs sanitation ***laced another trash disposal company and after two weeks of picking up our trash damaged our own personal toter trash can. ($125.00 value) I contacted costumer service via phone on 4/11/25 and spoke with ****** about the issue. I was instructed to email pictures to the email address and explain the situation. About a week after someone (I believe by the name of ****) contacted me via phone and stated they were going to ***lace my can with a Bigs can that was of equal quality. About a month went by and no can was delivered. I called to check in and spoke with a service *** by the name of ******. ****** was extremely rude and cut me off when trying to explain the situation. She stated they never received the pictures. I resent the picture and when I called back to check in on the situation she rudely told me that it was normal wear and tear and they were not going to ***lace my can now. I questioned why the decision was changed and she said it was the operational managers call. I asked to speak with them and she told me that they first had to look into the situation. I questioned her about that since she already said they made a decision and she could not give me an answer. I have now been waiting for over two weeks to be contacted over this matter. When I called back to check in ****** again very rudely said the situation is out of her hands and she has no information for me. I am still waiting to be contacted by an operation manager.

    I have been having trouble with this company not picking up my residential garbage. I am in *************** where they do pick up. I am the only one at the top of my hill but they get my neighbors down the street. I keep calling and asking them to please come and get my garbage they do not come. If I am lucky they will come the next day but I am always calling. This is getting to be ridiculous and a little bit of a health issue with garbage being out for weeks at a time. I have been having this issue since November and at one point they didnt come for four weeks and I had to find somewhere to throw my garbage away. I pay my bill for a service that is never here and I can not have this anymore.

    Our Route Supervisor **** ****** went to the customer's location on 4/2/2025 and spoke with the homeowner *****.  **** took care of the trash onsite and assured ***** that moving forward she would receive consistent weekly pickups.  **** spoke with the driver, assured this location was on his route sheet and will monitor this location weekly to ensure timely service.

    They have been unresponsive in multiple attempts to get them to empty and remove their dumpster from my property. It has been over two weeks since they have come to empty the dumpster. This is for a business that produces a good amount of trash and we have nowhere to put it. I will be taking legal action if the dumpster is not removed from my property immediately. I would like to avoid this but there does not seem to be another way. If anybody reads the reviews for Bigs sanitation on ******, they will see that the majority of customers have a similar experience to mine.

    Since I moved in, 9/15/22, Big's Sanitation has been attempting to force me to pay for debts that were incurred by the previous tenant. I have made multiple attempts over the years to have this taken off my bill. At first, ****** **** told me not to worry, that my move-in date was noted in the account. Next time, they told me not to worry about court threat letter, and I ended up in court. I had been holding back my payments, as I advised that any payment could make me liable for the whole. At the court hearing, the judge told me to pay for my rendered services, and I made the payment within 30 days, and began regular payments. In the meantime, Big's was taken over by new ownership, but they were singing the same tune. They wanted me to pay off the balance of the account that incurred before my move-in date. Now again, they want to take me to court. Today, I've been informed that they've already filed a petition with the courts, and they have suspended my service. They are trying to punish me for landlord's actions, while my landlord denies all responsibility. Big's Sanitation has the ability to charge my landlord, but would prefer to strongarm me.

    Big's sanitation is contracted garbage removal service for our Boro They have not removed the recycling trash now for two seperate pick up dates.have made three phone( 1/8-1/9-and 1/10 /2025) calls to the company and spoke with them explaining trash was still left at house the customer service person notated and promised that truck would be back out to do pick up. Never have followed through. Garbage still sitting in front of house.Deceitful, dishonest business practice

    Operations Manager ****** ***** spoke with customer regarding complaint.  We began servicing this community at the beginning of January and the customer was used to the time that the precious company would service his location.  Our drivers arrived earlier and serviced the location prior to the customer having his trash or recycle out.  ****** advised that moving forward he would have his route supervisor check on this location weekly to ensure consistent service.

    My trash was to be picked up on 10/25/24. It was not. I called they said Monday. Not picked up on Monday so I called and they said Tuesday. No pick up Tuesday so I called and they said Wednesday. No pickup Wednesday so I called and they said Thursday. Today is Thursday, no pick up. This is not the first time. For two weeks in the summer they did not pick up my entire street. Then that next week they didnt pick up until the next week. Each time I called and they said the next day. What am I paying them for. I feel I am owed 4 weeks of pick *** and I should be able to deduct that from my next payment.

    Route Supervisor went to home and personally spoke with husband and wife on 11/4/24 where he was told the trash had been recovered on Friday 11/1/24.  Operations Manager called and spoke with ***** on 11/5/24 advised that it needed to be routed to a small alley truck due to the overgrown trees in the back alley where the location is serviced.  ***** advised that she owns both 1147 and **************** homes.  ***** told the operations manager that she was glad he called to follow up and that our route supervisor stopped out to talk with her.

    •Business committed to provide scheduled trash pickup every week on Tuesdays. Each week our trash does not get picked up on our schedule trash day so we have to call each time to get our trash picked up. Sometimes it isn’t picked up until Thursday. We were told a supervisor would be calling us last week but we never heard anything back. This has happened for 4 weeks in a row.

    I’m a property owner with several properties. On 7-17-24, while at a property I went to clean because a tenant is moving in on Monday, I noticed that my electric meter was hanging from the house, and the wires cut. I contacted the electric company who informed me that a garbage truck from Big’s Sanitation had ripped my lines off my house approximately a month ago, and that my weatherhead was broken and that I must replace that before I can get my electric back on. I was never informed of this incident by either company. Big’s blamed the electric company by saying that the lines were lower than 14 feet, the electric company said by law, all their lines are above 14ft and that the driver was being careless. Both parties are saying the other is responsible for the damage. The weatherhead is not owned by the electric company so in order to fix it, this must come out of my pocket but Big’s Sanitation should be responsible for the costs because they caused the damage. I had measurements taken today which showed the lines were attached to my house well above 14 feet. I also spoke to city hall and my attorney about the matter and we have a meeting tomorrow.

    On June 26, 2024 at 8:30am our residential supervisor was notified by one of our drivers that he had caught a low hanging line.  Our supervisor notified our contact at the City of Washington Boro building who advised to contact the police and fire department for which he did.  Both the police and fire department were dispatched to the scene at *** ***** *******  Upon arrival, the fire department identified the low hanging line to be an old cable wire that they removed and allowed our driver to continue on his route.  At no point did anyone from Bigs Sanitation cut anything at the location in question.  The max height of our truck is 11ft 6in and it is impossible to catch wires that were allegedly at 14ft high.  It is also our understanding that the house in question has been abandoned since we took over the residential trash contract on Jan 01, 2024, hence why the owner waited 23 days before making this claim.  It is our position that Bigs Sanitation is not at faut or responsible for any alleged damage at this property.

    Lies, this is a property that is being renovated, was never abandoned. None of my properties are abandoned, after communications with the Mayor of Washington, it was revealed thats Big’s Sanitation is 100% responsible for the $1453.65 bill and that they even lied and said that there was no damage done. I never once said Big’s Sanitation cut any wires, the electric company had to cut the wires because the garbage truck pulled down and broke my weatherhead, popped siding loose, and ripped my electric meter off of the side of the house. Doesn’t matter if it took me 23 days to notice or not, this isn’t a property that I’m at every single day because I have several that are being worked on and again this is not an abandoned property that’s actually hilarious. Abandoned properties don’t have live utilities now do they? The electric company wouldn’t have had to cut the power to the house now would they? Cut the lies, if the lines were hanging at 11 feet like you say, they would’ve been torn down a long time ago. I’m attaching a picture from before this happened and please tell me if either line running to my house looks like it’s 11 feet from the ground? I can literally jump and grab a wire hanging 11 feet cut the crap. Even on the lowest end of the line which is closest to the house it isn’t below 14 feet and a garbage truck wouldn’t ride the shoulder where cars are parked.
