      Solicitation that is borderline harassment even after I asked them to stop.

      Menta Construction replaced my roof after a bad wind/hail storm had caused damage to it. From my first meeting with Matt Menta through after completion, the entire process went smoothly. Menta Construction dealt with all of the insurance details, they were very timely in starting the project and completed it within one day.

      Even after the roof had been completed, Matt came back out to my residence to look for stray shingles and nails that may have escaped the crews eye on the day of the project. He also went a step further in going back up on the roof and adhering down shingles that were lifted slightly by the flashing even though this was not an install error.

      Both Paul Jr. and Matt were a pleasure to work with and were available at all times for calls/questions. They were very thorough in their explanation of the entire process from dealing with the insurance company to roof install. I would certainly recommend Menta Construction for any of your roofing needs.

      May 2022 Menta Construction came around, unsolicited, offering free roof evaluation. That was a red flag, but I gave them a chance. The first crew member was unable to get a good look because of the angle/steep roof, so he had Paul Menta come by on another day to do the inspection. Later an appointment with Paul and the insurance adjuster was made and the roof was deemed in need of repair. On June 13, 2022, Paul Menta arrived at my home to pick up a check in the amount of $6,637.54 that I received from my insurance company. I was then told that the supplies would be ordered and that I would now be placed on their schedule. As of today August 9, 2023, one year and several months later, all I've heard from Menta Construction is, "we need more money and if you try to get your money back, it's going to cost you." The insurance company said they would pay another $1,729 once the job is completed for the weatherization. Menta has had over $6600 for well over a year, used it, and has done nothing for my roof. "Theft"

      I believe I have been scammed by a BBB listed company.
