An onsite inspection was done on 4/8. I did not hear knocking so I didn’t see who came but I spoke to Danielle the same day about the inspection in which she said valley pool didn’t notify them that I upsized from an 18 ft to a 21 ft, so I told them. Martin quoted me a flat rate of $600 for excavation. I paid $300 on 4/17 and paid the remaining balance of $318 on 5/6, for a total of $618. I was scheduled for an excavation on 5/7 and installation on 5/10. On 5/7 no one arrived so I reached out to Danielle about 11am who said the appointment was an error and I’m not on the schedule for an excavation. I was told Martin was just “stopping by to see what was under the previous site since he is close by.” I texted her again around 2p due to no arriving and she told me “ I guess he already came. He said that we don't need to excavate but we do need to widen the site”. Then said “He gave me a quote for $350 for us to do it. Please let me know if you would like us to do it or if you will still do it. We can widen it the day of installation on May 10.” I told her I rather them do it for $350 and asked about the difference of $250 being refunded. She said “I totally forgot you already paid for excavation so we need to figure out from there so we can get you refunded and set up with what actually needs done. Sorry for the confusion. I'll be in touch soon.” On 5/8 she then said she spoke to Martin and I was paid in full because I paid the $600. I told her that is not what he quoted me to widen it, he quoted $600for the excavation then said we didn’t need it and quoted me $350 to widen it. On 5/9 I texted Danielle again asking about the $250 being refunded and she said she is still trying to get the answer from Martin. On the day of installation, I did not receive a text answering my question until 12:08pm that the difference was not being refunded.

Unfortunately she is not telling the truth.  The original quote of $350 was to widen the site.

We later found out that they upsized the pool.  Which the original widening needed done plus an additional 3ft all the way around the pool since they went up in size . That was the $600 quote..

why would the price go down for more digging ?

she's upset because we hand dug it instead of using the machine which made the jib even harder.  We didn't use the machine because the ground was wet and we didn't want to mess up the yard.

I never talked to her at all so not sure why she says I told her this or that. The morning of I sent her and eta and arrived on time. Knocked on the door multiple times and no one answered.  I showed up it's her job to be available.

It's pretty simple. $350 for the widening previous pool site. $600 for the widening and Excavation meaning we had to dig allot more for the bigger pool. Why would we say $350 then $600 then say oh we need to dig at more we can do it for $350 ???

      there is no refund due.

They were trying to install the pool in an unsafe area . They had a 10 ft cliff right next to where the pool was going.

We gave them 2 options to build a retaining wall or push the pool away from the drop off and taper the hillside..

And we also agreed to refund their money.

We only looking out for their safety.

When people don't hear what they want or don't get their way they like to come here and write fake reviews .

they got a clear head and ended up following our advise and we installed their pool. So I'm not sure what this reveiw is about.

B&T Installations was to start the excavation for a new pool and the weather was going to be an issue, so I tried to get a polite answer if they would be coming Feb 22. The answer was the same as I had mentioned 2 days earlier that it was going to be a washout. So after a few attempts to try and find out when we would be rescheduled no answer. So after checking out the BBB website it didn't look like they would do a good job. My husband cancelled the pool and we received a refund for that from Valley. Martin emailed me immediately (where as before this he was not as prompt). I told him to please cancel. Martin told me on Feb. 23 that he would put in a refund for $985 because I already paid the full invoice amount for the installation. After, another attempt on March 6 to Martin to find out when the refund would be coming, he said he would check it out the next day. Today is March 10 and I have not heard from Martin and there is still no refund on my credit card. Therefore, I would like to be able to receive a $985 refund from B&T Installations Martin J******* for the paid installation.

Well of course more fake news from a customer. Why is it that every complaint on here is fake and u true ?

Do people have nothing better to do ?

I never got to respond to the bother complaints but the last one about me buying a pool and telling her it was an all aluminum pool is so far from the truth. I would never say that , you can't even get all aluminum pools anymore. No one else could get her her size pool so she begged me to find her one which I did. Yes her top rail rusted but it's from her using to many chemicals. On top of that it is not my product.  I'm not the manufacturer.

I've never seen that pool do that before. The reason I  lost the court case is I was in a different state and the judge wouldn't move the court date for me. She is the low life for trying to slander someone's name.

tthewhole reason she needed a pool was because I was honest with her and wouldn't put a liner in her old pool  because it had a huge rust hole from over chemicaling her old pool. The last installer put a liner in it right over the rust hole which was unsafe. I could of did that but would not cause it is not right. So I do the right thing and get sued cause she uses to many chemicals ?

This customer reads the bbb full of false claims from people who didn't get their way and cancels.

This customer is telling false accusations as well. She rescheduled on me and said it was going to rain and we should reschedule.  It was still winter and I didn't reschedule the next few days cause the weather was not getting any better  I did refund her the money but it goes thru a processor that says 5 to 10 business days..

I have zero control over when it happens. Attached is a screenshot of her asking me to reschedule as well as thr refund that I processed.  I don't need her money . If it doesn't process in the next week sje can either put in a dispute with her card or I can send a check.

People need to stop slandering with false accusations and trying to hurt companies reputations when they are false...

This platform  and things like Google reviews just allows this nonsense.

At least here you can reply back google you cant.

All these people putting out fake narratives maybe need to do some soul searching. It only allows me.to add 4 screenshots there are plenty more showing my proof.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have no idea what B&T is talking about with response to the pool.  I received my refund Valley it was not an issue.  I still have not received my refund from him and not sure what to believe at this point.  He is slow to respond to emails except when it's convenient for him.  And as far as lying, I don't know what he's talking about.  After dealing with Martin J*******, I believe everything that is posted on the BBB to be true.  Had I looked at the website first I never would have bought a pool at Valley and used B&T.  So I don't see a date when he processed the refund and my credit card is very good at putting through refunds from other retailers.  Typically, the next day...I requested the refund Feb. 28 and last spoke to him March 7 and he was supposed to get back to me to let me know when the refund would happen.  He never did.

Exactly my point . Just want to hear what they want to think as to be real. My picture shows where I processed the refund.

I use an app for payment called jobber . The screenshot shows that it takes 5 to 10 business days to process.

It shows that I processed the refund. I have Zero control how long it takes. Valley just has to cancel the sale and it will refund the card. That's not how it happens on my side..

I've done everything I told her I would I showed up on time and did my work . She canceled on me and then tried to blame me saying I canceled on her that's why I attached the emails that show That i m telling the truth.

If she doesn't receive her refund by the end of the week I will send a check or PayPal her the amount back like I said in my last response..

I'm not trtkt to get over in her. I wouldn't be responding with valid proof of waht I'm saying.

people want instant results and that's what most of my complaints are from . People who didn't get their way or instant results so they slander.

      Thank you

So this is the last time I will respond.  This is the 10th day since I asked for a refund and nothing.  I'm not even going to comment on the response from Martin B&T Installations because they are babbling and inaccurate.  I suppose he'll just have to hear from my lawyer if I don't receive the refund.

I hired B&T installations to put my pool in March 2022. Paid in full approximately $740.00. They pushed the date 3 times for install. I finally had someone show up6/7. They said they couldn’t do the work in the rain that morning, however an hour later(and all day no rain) no one came back to work. I was assured B&T would contact me that day to discuss. No one did . I have left msm number twice with them, emailed, and filed a complaint with Valley pools, with whom they are contracted out. It had been over 24 hours and no one has resolved this issue of the install. They don’t answer the phone, or emails.
