March 26, Rome Bath *** came to review our project. June 6, work began. The 2 men started with demolition work. June 7, they returned for installation. They caused a leak and had to turn off the water to the house quickly to fix. A water spot of 6 circumference appeared on our kitchen ceiling and continued to grow. My husband was to sign off and was shocked to see how poor the finish work was. The trim pieces were cut with a non-precision multi-tool and the gap between the trim and the tub was so wide that the caulk sank in and looked terrible. No caulk tool was used and looked very bad.The ceiling had been damaged.**** asked the men to redo the caulk and they agreed. The men also put a coat of primer on our kitchen ceiling, using no drop cloth, and got splatters of paint on our hardwood floors.**** felt uncomfortable taking the finish work any further with the contractors. The watermark on our kitchen ceiling became larger and was spreading to other areas.June 13, a *** came and saw the issues. The tub drain had not been sealed. He sealed the drain and attempted to fix the trim piece with the poor caulking job, again using his finger and not a caulking tool. This man also used a multi-tool to cut the trim piece, having to leave for a 3rd trim piece to install. He used the tub as a surface to cut the trim and scratched the tub. There was glue across bathroom floor. We called ***** to let him know how dissatisfied we were. A drywall *** was needed to fix our kitchen ceiling. After posting a review through HD,I received a VM from ******************* of **** who had seen my review. He gave me his cell and I called back.Never heard back from ***. July 3, 2 new ***s were sent. They agreed the caulk work was bad and re-installed the trim with a precision cutting tool. The caulk was better. They buffed out the tub scratches, patched the kitchen ceiling and applied apaint.More coats were clearly needed. No new contact from **** Bath.We must now ***atch and ***aint.I want to have the labor refunded.

I spoke with *************** on the morning of August 22nd. After a review of the challenges they had encountered, it made more sense to see the job in person, they agreed. I met with ************** and was later joined by ***************. We reviewed the concerns which included the silicone lines, clean up of the tub, pealing of the finish on the overflow cover, floor separation, and the repair of the stain on the ceiling downstairs.

After my review, I suggested that we should redo the walls and the floor and make repairs to the remainder of the job. They agreed that this would be a great solution.

We have ordered new walls, floor, and hardware and confirmed with *** and *************** that we will contact them as soon as the materials arrive. We have also agreed to send our most veteran crew in ******** to complete the repairs.

      Best Wishes,

On 12/5/2023 I had a representative who was present at my house and quoted me a price for a remodeling of my bathroom walk-in shower and was given a price of $12,606.00 minus a 10% discount off that price for the project. They came on May 30th 2024 to remodel and complete the work agreed upon. After the Job was completed the worker came to me and told me that I would be charged an extra $200 for materials? I thought that all materials needed would have already been included in said price? Then after the work was done the paperwork had an extra $434.00 for more materials? Now we are well over 600 dollars over the agreed price not to mention their commercial specifically states that they abide by their quotes and NEVER charge you more than what they have quoted you. Im looking to have that extra money taken off my charges as I do not feel that I should pay anything above what was originally agreed upon. Please feel free to call me if further information is needed. Thanks in advance
