Only giving one star to b able to write my comment. I was looking into taking an equity loan from my mortgage company when I was transferred to this company who lied to me n said there would not be a hard credit check but there was. Now he keeps sending me letters to advise what documents are needed to process the loan after we told him we would not be taking the equity loan.

This is a repeat action as cited by ************** and *******. I informed my Lincoln Investment Agent ***** that I wanted to rollover my *** to our family agent. I asked if we could use the quick phone authorization method that my family had used with other firms. I was informed that Lincoln used another method. My *** **** me the first multi page form to rollover my *** to another broker with highlighted areas to complete. My ******* ***** Agent (MLA) assisted in filling out the multipage form. About a month later I received a letter from the home office that 3 items needed to be filled out. The post **** on the letter was about 3 weeks later than the transmittal data on the letter. MLA phone and confirmed only 1 of 3 items was missing. Form refiled. One week passed. Another phone call to Lincoln home office (LHO) to check on status. Informed we had submitted incorrect form. Obtained form RSOL30 Direct Rollover Out of Solutions to New Broker. Form submitted. My MLA made multiple calls, during business hours, asking My *** for assistance. *** did not call during business hours, but called after business hours when my agent was not in office. *** also said that he had emailed both me and my MLA with advice. All I got was investment promos and my MLA did not receive any emails. Shortly after the second form submittal, I got an email from Lincoln Investment *********** (LIHO) with multipage form requesting that I liquidate my *** into a recommended company. Phoned LIHO and emphasized that I was told that I could rollover my *** to another broker and I did not want to liquidate. I contacted MLA with the information. About a week later we received a third form to liquate my *** to MLA. 2.5 months have passed and Lincoln still has my money and is collecting maintenance fees.

They will intentionally send you the incorrect rollover request forms and continue charging you monthly for your money, while they lose your money to poor investing. They do not have well trained advisors, and they frequently send you on circle chains of contact. I would recommend TIAA (or any other investment firm) over Lincoln Investment any day.
