This is my current situation june 28 2024. Received a phone call from medcare this week while at work. They wanted a 60 plus dollar payment then or return of my supplies would take place bc it was stated they had my supplies for two weeks. This is the background of this said situation..in may 2024, I received a call from medcare wanting to know if I wanted to order my cpap supplies. I ordered what I felt I needed. I was told that an authorization would be placed and I was asked my current shipping address to ship these supplies to me. I gave the correct info. Currently month of June, no supplies have been delivered. I did not receive a phone call telling me the order was approved nor that my supplies were being held. I am only 10 minutes from there offices in ********** pa. Do they not have these supplies at this large business balding in **********? Where would my supplies come from if being shipped to my address. Does not one think if they, at ********** receive my shipment, someone would call to tell me???. What am I paying for that amounts to over 60 dollars and where are you sending my supplies back to? Peak health was called. My authorization for these supplies came to me June 17 2024. Payment was made from them related to the cpap, April, may 2024. I owe 4.91 for month of June and do you not, as medcare, mail statements???? Deliver supplies with a bill attached as previously done??? Letting others know too, that I stopped auto billing for past discrepancies and I will no longer allow auto payments. I feel your company has one of the worst representation in patient contact, communication skills need to be in a classroom with up to date communication skills, treating customer care. your customers is what makes your business. If I could have, you would not even get the 1 star highlighted.MedCare Equipment Company LLC

I am sorry yo u all seem to be having trouble with them. I have had Medcare for over 10 yrs. I have had no problems with them billing my card for supplies not ordered. Plus I get my supplies within 7 days.MedCare Equipment Company LLC

Im currently being sent letter of threat from medcare for payment that my insurance fully covers , and when I addressed it I was told my insurance carrier at fault .. ************ carrier calls number they provided on bill and no answer , Im fully covered confirmation from my insurance and MedCare refuses to comply no star and no respect given to me at all.MedCare Equipment Company LLC

1 starAbsolutely the worst medical supply company out there. They have no consideration as to how important theses supplies are to the people who depend on them and that not receiving them can cause serious health concerns or even death. They wait until you are completely out of supplies to request new scripts from doctors. Then it may take 2-3 days for them to receive the scripts before they will ship them. They will do the same thing when it comes to insurance authorizations with zero concern for the consumer. They provide no communication to the consumer when this is going to/ or does happen. They are very unorganized. Absolutely terrible policies in place by upper management. They deserve to have their NPI number revoked.Review fromDavid M

This company is run very poorly , i did my sleep studies back in january of this year doctor had sent all results and prescriptions and then in april again resent to get a new c-pap and still it is the end of august actually the 30th and have not heard or gotten my new c-pap !!! Company will take one time payment information (such as copay for an RT visit) and automatically enroll customer in autopay for equipment without his or her consent, in violation of the Consumer Protection Act. Once enabled, autopay cannot be disabled on the consumer end - a company representative has to agree to disable automatic payments internally.MedCare Equipment Company LLC

A Med Care equipment company employee told me I could no longer pay my bill by check for equipment I use. That I would have to pay by credit or direct pay from my banking account. They wanted me to give them my banking information when confronted with UPMC member Service on the phone they said I can still pay by check. I've received several calls I consider deceptive Med Care calls me, then ask me to identify myself by giving them my birthday and the last for numbers of my social security number. This is why I stopped taking their calls.I received a $2400.00 bill from Med Care I was told to disregard it. I haven't received any services for this bill. Now I receive a $2382.98 for not scheduling a breathing/lung test. Messages have been left for me to call them none of the messages say anything about scheduling an appointment. I feel like I'm being charged a bill for their lack of communication. I want to make sure they clear this debt off my accountMedCare Equipment Company LLC

Poor billing practices and patient harassment. They are thoroughly negligent and show zero intent to correct any poor billing practices. They harassed my wife over a wrist brace that they failed to bill for months after UPMC processed the claim. Additionally, they sent the bill to collections prior to the legally allowed window, even after a complaint was filed. Avoid this unethical business at all costs. You as the patient have the right to refuse care and request a written prescription for your DME to take elsewhere.MedCare Equipment Company LLC

Medcare Equipment Company is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my 76 years on this earth! If you call regarding a billing issue, you cant get to speak with anyone. As for keeping your order straight, dont count on it. You cannot count on them for anything! My wife has never had an issue with PA O2 regarding her CPAP and always reaches a live person that helps her. They even helped me get my replacement BIPAP set up when Medcare didnt! I am trying to get my latest bill taken care of, which they are supposed to automatically bill my credit card for. Here it is two months and I cant begin to count the number of phone calls I have made to them and it still isnt taken care of. Forget calling the number they give for billing questions because you get a recording telling you to leave your number and someone will call you back, but they dont.MedCare Equipment Company LLC

Terrible service. They tell you they'll ship out your order so you wait and it never comes. You call back that's if anyone answers the phone. They tell you sorry we don't know why it wasn't sent. Can't order online no one answers the chat. Takes weeks to get anything.MedCare Equipment Company LLC
