Hired ML Plumbing to replace a piece of broken sewer line on November 12th. Dug up and replaced the broken line. Told me he cleaned out the remaining sewer line. Line clogged back up in approximately less than 2 weeks. Unable to get ahold of Mark L******* so I hired another company to come in and hydrojet the remaining line for $600. The other company said that there was no way that Mark cleaned the remaining line. Contacted L******* and told him what the other company did and that there was no way he cleaned it out. He told me to send him my address and he would send me a check for the $600. That was 3 months ago and still waiting. He also was to come back and reseed the area that was dug up and he still hasn't returned to do that.Initial Complaint

I prepaid for a service, to have three toilets installed. They installed the one, said the rest would be done by end of January. Now it’s the middle of February and no one will call me back about the status of the installation. I just want an update to see when it can be finished. We have 13 residents here, and we bought the toilets based on their recommendation to help alleviate some plumbing issues we have been having.Initial Complaint

I hired Mark to complete my plumbing job. He was supposed to start on March 1st but no showed. He then showed up March 4th. He created fraudulent charges to the tune of $7950. He told me after my entire basement and front yard were dug up that he had to tear up the sidewalk and carry pipe out to the street. Not only did he not finish to do any of that, he lied about re routing my downspouts. He is a fraud and I would like a full refund.Initial Complaint

ML Plumbing replaced a septic line from house to septic tank. The work was done and paid for 9-29-22. Next the leech bed needed to be replaced and the work was performed and paid for on 10-15-22 but not to the original contract. The yard was to be seeded and strawed 2 weeks after the bed was put in and today it is a muddy mess. Now ML Plumbing gave a 25 year warranty. The first heavy rain, we had water leaking in basement in which I called and left multiple messages and no one returns my calls then finally when I left message saying I was going to contact a lawyer, I got a return call saying someone will be out to fix the problem and that was on 11-11-22 and no one has showed up. So here I am contacting the BBB because ML Plumbing cannot be trusted.Initial Complaint

I contacted ML Plumbing this past June of 2022 seeking a professional repair of a venting problem with a hot water tank that was installed new by ******* **** ******** *** last November of 2021. The hot water venting system was installed improperly and was pointed out to me by an Electrician I had at my residence. I contacted The **** plumbing company and was told someone would be out the following morning of the day I contacted them.
**** never showed up or called me so I went online to find a plumber to come out and properly repair the leaking and improperly installed vent. I was able to make contact with ML Plumbing and they came out on 6/15/22 to assess and 'repair' the Hot water venting. ML used TAPE to seal the vent spending about 30 minutes in all and charged me $225.00. I was astounded at the cost and was very suspicious of the repair ML plumbing preformed. I contacted **** plumbing who installed the hot water tank and demanded a refund of $225.00 and the response I received was ML plumbing was being sued for deceptive practices and therefore refused to refund me the charges I paid to ML Plumbing because the implication was ML plumbing and myself were not being honest.
Last month, October 2022 I contacted a HVAC company to provide an estimate for a new furnace and AC system because of age and inefficiency. The salesman from the HVAC company was astounded that I was charged $225.00 for taping a vent on my hot water tank and advised me his men would properly repair the hot water tank venting when the new furnace was installed. True to his word the HVAC company not only did a professional installation they also 'fixed' the hot water tank venting the proper way. I submitted a google review about ML plumbing and stated if they wanted to contact the HVAC company I used to confirm the repair ML charged me for was in fact improper and demanded a full refund of $225.00. ML responded asking for the name of the HVAC company but I remain ignored.Initial Complaint

**** has been paid for work not finished. As per the contract (attached below), he needs to put down 10" of topsoil and then seed and straw from running pipes from an insurance claim. Need yard leveled out from work and truck and machinery. There are rocks/stones sticking up out of yard that need removed 1st before putting down topsoil. He also promised to cut down clean out pipe more. I text him on Jun 30th stating I was ready to have that done and he has not answered calls or texts. The insurance adjustors also told him to call me last Friday (8/5/22) and he never did so the adjustors again reached out to him yesterday (8/10/22) to call me by end of day and never heard from him.Initial Complaint

We had our sewer line replaced on July 1st. He was paid the full amount before the yard work was completed. The contract stated that he would return in 2 weeks to cut the "T" line, level out our yard, put seed and hay down. He has no returned any of our phone call, it has now been 4 weeks. Tonight our basement flooded where the line was replaced. It is not sewer water but rain water coming up thru the sewage drain. Our backyard is now opening up and sinking.
