Will not add us to their service, but pick up my neighbors to the left, to the right, and across the street. We have 2 bags a week. I hope they go out of business!!

This gentleman did not provide any information that I can use to investigate his complaint. Since he's not a customer at this time, we would need an address in order to determine what the circumstances were.

This company is an absolute joke. We moved into our current house in June of 2023. We have not received a bill before the due date the entire time. The last statement we received, it was via mail and it had a late payment on it. I called and told them that we haven't received anything before that statement and weren't sure why there was a late payment. The lady on the phone said that they made a bunch of mistakes sending out many customer's statements, and they will remove the late fee. I decided to turn on the online setting, because I assumed that I would get it in my email faster, and could avoid this situation in the future. Wrong. I just received a statement today, October 7th, and the date on the actual statement is October 4th. Shocker, another late fee. I called again today, and the lady said that it was due on October 3rd. I told her that I never received anything before today, and she said that I had to have gotten something. I again told her that I searched "Tri County" in my email and the only thing that popped up was the contract I signed in the very beginning of our service, and the single email. She reluctantly waived the late fee. This has to be a scam. I hate this company. How do I only get statements after the bill is due? Ridiculous. And I don't even have the option to switch providers because the borough where I live has a contract with this company. Also, every single person I've talked to in customer service is absolutely horrible. Very rude and unprofessional.

I apologize for the issues you are having in receiving your statement. We did have an issue with the June statement for July, August and ********* services that we were unaware of until customers received their statement the next month. Finance charges were credited off for all affected customers. Outside of that issue, paper statements went out as usual. Unfortunately, we have no control over the postal service. As far as the paperless billing, I do show a statement being emailed to your email address on 9/9/2024 for October, **************************** It may be possible that your internet provider or a spam filter could be blocking it for some reason. As far as the time lapse, it can take a couple of days to complete the emailing process, as we have multiple people doing billing processes at the same time. For reference, statements for the quarterly service go out in early December, March, June and ********* for the following quarters service.

I live in ********* where they have a contract with the city we are supposed to have a choice between two different plans One is $129 unlimited and the other one is $56 bags I just came from court today where they tried to give me a fine I was found innocent because Tri-County is trying to strong arm citizens of ****** by making them keep the $129 plan instead of letting them save money on the affordable $56 plan.

We are not trying to strong-arm anyone into anything. You most certainly have a choice between sticker and cart service. Our collections representative has been trying to reach out to you regarding adjusting the balance due on the account to the sticker service pricing. In our welcome letter, mailed in January 2023, it clearly states that you do have an option of sticker service, but you must notify us to do so.

My service was canceled in December but yet I'm being charged for services for the last 3 months. December, January and February. Why do I have to pay for a service not received?

Our collections department is working with the customer on this issue. Service is mandatory within the municipality where he lives. Service can be stopped if the account becomes past due. But, since it is a mandatory service, charges will continue to accrue.

I called and canceled my service. They sent me a bill, I called and conformed it was canceled then recieved yet another bill for 2 billing cycles I called yet again and I can't remember names of individuals that I spoke to but she said my account was not marked canceled that she would do so and talk to driver about trash pick up. Then I recieved a statement saying they picked trash up saying the driver stated that they picked trash up. I switched trash services so no longer sat trash out for them to pick up so not sure of whose trash they collected but it was not from my residence. I called and talked to ***** and she was very rude insisting there is video that they go solely off of the driver and that trucks are equipped with cameras. ******* hung up so I called again asking to speak to the manager or someone higher up, I spoke to a woman who said she was going to review footage from truck and call me back. She has yet to call back and now they sent the $129.00 to collections for a service that was not done. I do not recommend this service, they failed to pick trash up several times and now this.

After investigating this matter, we have credited any remaining charges and the account has a zero balance.

Tried to call to notify them we needed to cancel service due to selling our home and moving to a new state (after 14 plus years of being a customer and paying our bill on time) but had to leave a voicemail when nobody in at their office number took our call during business hours. Provided cell phone number and full explanation in voice mail, including an explanation that we did not yet have a forwarding address since we had not closed on our new property yet. Was never contacted by cell, and we did not receive any correspondence via the mail after we posted our forwarding address with the postal service 2 weeks after moving. 4 months later we received a collection company notice and bill noting we owed $14.98. Seriously, turned over to collections for less than $15 even after nearly 15 years of being a good customer. We lost 50 points on our credit score. When we called to ask why we were turned over to a collection company for less than $15 we were told that was the amount they were owed and they didnt recall or have any record we had left a voicemail. We were also told we needed to work with the collection company to dispute. Wow! Make sure you pay your bill and also make sure you speak to someone in person if you need to cancel service. Do not leave a voicemail and do not expect them to do the right thing by simply writing off a measly $15 bill for a 15 year customer.

I am unable to investigate this matter, as I can't locate an account under this name. However, sending an account to a collection agency for this amount is not our policy, and I will address this internally with staff. We appreciate that you were a customer for almost 15 years and apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
