We contracted with Old Village Master Painters to complete exterior painting of our home. The contract contains a 4 year warranty. *************** is the owner of the company and was supposed to oversee the job. However, since he experienced a decline in health from the time of the quote (Fall 2022) and the beginning of the job (Spring 2023), his son, ****** *****, oversaw the project instead. ****** is the owner of Village Restoration, LLC. We contracted ****** ***** and Village Restoration simultaneously to do repairs on our front porch. At the end of the painting job, I pointed out areas of the home that had not be prepped appropriately prior to painting. In August of 2023 (2 months after completion of the painting job), there were areas of the paint job that had already failed, and I sent photos to ******. I was unable to get ****** to come examine these areas until December 4, at which point it was too cold to commence repairs, and we were told they would be completed in Spring 2024. Beginning the beginning of March 2024, I have been attempting daily via phone, text message and email to reach ****** and *** I have received no return call, text or email. At this point we will begin to look for another company to complete the repairs, and we desire a refund as they have not held up the contract.

June 8, 2022 Old Village Master Painters, LLC was contracted via owner, ***************, to remove, restore, reinstall and complete all finishing work (painting, carpentry, hardware, caulking etc) Only on window was taken to be refurbished and not returned until Sept. That window was not properly installed but I was assured that all finishing work would be done once all the windows had been removed, restored and installed. Then in at the end of September, 2 additional windows were removed. At that time, *************** demanded an additional $2000, saying that was part of the agreement. However, it was not. Only a deposit of $3000 was required as per the contract. However, I was willing to pay the additional money once ** sent me an additional payment schedule. This is when the work stopped. I begged **'s son, ****** *****, to return and at least seal up the temporary windows and the one window which was returned because temperatures were dropping. He finally came in late November, early december. There's been no work done since then. Last month ** had the two windows, that they were supposed to be restoring, dropped off at my house with 30 minutes notice. The windows have just been painted over, but not restored as per the contract.Old Village Master Painters had a bankruptcy finalizing in court at the same time ** was demanding more money. I had no real indication that there was any intention of completing the job or returning my money. If any additional documentation is needed, please ask. I am happy to supply.Thank you
