I received a bill linked to **** (**************************) from account ************* claiming I owed $25 out of a $250 bill from a 01/05/2024 to present of the bill date (10/23/2024). I contacted **** billing on this matter and a billing specialist checked my account and noted I do not have a balance owed and they did not submit any bills under my name to outsource agencies. I am not quite sure where this came from and how it might affect my credit. There is no balance owed per **** from any date of service from 01/05/2024 to the present today (12/17/2024). Thank you.Business Response

Complaint: 22692430
I am rejecting this response because:
I do not and have never done business with CTRMA. Tolls for CTRMA roads were previously collected by TXTag, which has now transitioned to HCTRA.I had a past due balance with TXTag in September due to an expired credit card. I paid the balance the day I received the first notice. I have included the past due bill, the payment receipt, and a current bill showing I owe $0.
I reject Penn Credit Corporations response and I encourage the BBB to review their rating. They have terrible reviews and if the person who reviewed this complaint believes the phone call I had with their company was handled professionally they should not be in a position to be replying to the BBB.

Complaint: 22692430
I am rejecting this response because:
My position remains unchanged and it appears Penn Credit Corporation either didnt read my response or felt it was unnecessary to investigate why they are pursuing a debt that has clearly been paid.I have provided documents showing I paid the debt in question and I have contacted CTRMA to confirm they dont collect directly and the funds I paid to TXTag went to them. I encourage Penn Credit Corporation to contact their client if they feel they were provided incorrect information.
I have no intention of contacting anyone from Penn Credit Corporation to resolve this and I remain steadfast in my suggestion that the BBB review this company. They are unwilling to put even minimal effort to help resolve issues and should not be trusted by anyone.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me; however, I attempted to have them stop contacting me through advising them that I was not ASHLEYand they did not stop. This is why I contacted you. They are rabid dogs and I know they have a job to do but this is ridiculous and they should not treat innocent people like criminals especially after requesting they quit contacting you as required by law.

Penncredit has overcharged me $10, I can see a Massdot Bill that shows I should NOT have been charged $36, but only $26 but Penncredit may have used it in their commission. ***** either didn't listen to the calls thoroughly or skipped one, but there were 4 calls, 2 in September and there was an agent who said to me "I'll just f**king end the call and you can look at the letter we sent you", which I never received. Penncredit claims they sent me letters but I never got any, and just harassing phone calls that were definitely unprofessional.Business Response
