      I purchased a home last year with maronda. They needed to put on 2 hvac units but only put in one. I threatened to sue them, but then we agreed I would pay for the extra unit at wholesale and they would install it. Again it has been 2 months since signing a waiver and they are blowing me off. They did admit after the fact that they were wrong and are now installing 2 units on all there larger homes because of me. I believe they are waiting for my warranty to run out at the end of the month. They keep saying the hvac people are backed up, well yea because they are finishing their new homes. I want this resolved. I have sent several complaints to you and they keep having me sign off on things to get the bbb off their back, but nothing ever gets done. I have had many many issues with them but its just literally been hundreds of e mails to get anything done.

      Recently had a home built before we closed things were supposed to be fixed there is a cracked tile above my backsplash, broken kitchen backsplash, master bedroom door does not latch/lock paint splatter all over my hand rails they also damaged our flooring right before we closed at final walk through we were told it would be fixed while we go close came back from closing to see they glued the floating floor together to make the repair this is not how you are suppose to fix it the manufacturer says that is incorrect and the flooring will fail. They fixed it like that because they didn’t want to take it all up and fix it the right way. There is a leak under the hall bath sink that was noticed the day after we closed the laundry cabinet is broken and was supposed to be replaced garage door panel are dented and cracked there is no screen for my basement patio door windows do not properly function drywall looks like a child finished it in several spots

      We have sent over 20 emails but have yet to find any resolution or have someone contact us for help or update us on what a time frame would be. We contacted Maronda Homes Inc service department initially back in March for our basement wall and foundation that is cracked and crooked. The Service Director and engineer came out in June, and we were given what the solution would be. The issue is since that time we have not been given any time frame for a fix and the service director will not answer our calls or emails. Even emailing the regular support we get no answers and responses are extremely delayed.

      We want help to work with someone that will properly communicate with us and keep in touch with us as far as what a time frame for resolution is. We had to hold up all plans to remodel our basement and to do projects outside this year due to waiting on resolution for this issue and have already invested money in these projects.

      ****** ******a homeowner insurance representative. Maronda responded by saying there is no way to checking the longevity of a roof but as a courtesy they would have a roofing vendor take a look at the roof the next time they were in the community. Unfortunately, another rainstorm occurred, and water entered the house in the same exact spot so the repair that occurred did not fix the leak. Maronda said that because the company made adjustments to the original roof done by Maronda they considered the matter closed. I emailed them yet again and told them that the repair simply corrected an issue that existed throughout the entirety of the roof. I was asked to send them pics of the issue before and after the repair. Another roofer was called in and inspected the entire roof and observed numerous installation faults on the roof in addition to determining the area and cause of the leak. Maronda wants to review my photos and documentation before they take any action.

      To Whom It May Concern,

      I’m following up on complaint ID ********. My complaint was closed without it being resolved. The business (Maronda Homes) sent a response to you with regards to my complaint that they would reach out to me within 24hrs of receipt of your email to them. I did not receive a call within the 24hr period nor have I gotten a response at all. I was not satisfied with the resolution because I never got one. I responded that I was not satisfied because I never got a resolution. I believe I was not able to articulate this in my response.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is not completely satisfactory to me.  They keep saying they will contact me but they have not contacted me not one time. I did notify the business  that my roof was replaced. I am seeking compensation for the roof that I had replaced as listed in my complaint. Maronda was provided opportunity to look at the roof and was sent numerous photos.

      We closed our house on 7/20/2022. Then on 8/1/2022 I complained about the front porch railing not being properly installed to the Maronda. Their response was we(owner) damaged the railing and they have nothing to do about it. They keep claiming the house was delivered without any issues with the railing. Maronda staff(production manager) came to my house on 8/19/2022 but he didn't inspect the railing. Instead he kept talking about other people might vandalize the railing when we were not home. He knows the railing is not installed properly so he didn't even looked at it. He told me that there is a metal inside the vinyl cover and someone damaged it. Then he asked us to hire handy man to fix it(simply he asked us to fix it and they are not responsible). The very next day I inspect the railing and found out that plastic pole is used instead of metal. I will be attaching picture to BBB. Maronda sold the house for 460K but same on Maronda for scamming customer by installing improper railing. My suggestion for other buys please inspect everything properly before you closed the house. It is very difficult to work with them after closing the house. They will ignore your service request. Do not trust their any supervisor or staff etc.

       Support manager told me that the railing made strongly with metal. But I just took a look only plastic is use on that particular railing. Work is done improperly and the railing is installed improperly. We build new house thinking about low maintenance for at least couple of years but Maronda’s staff/ supervisor’s lack of quality inspection resulted on poor result.

      Fix the railing issues. It is companies fault not checking the installation properly. I have paid enough money to the Maronda homes to built this house. Railing needed to be fixed.

      Purchased new constructed condo through Maronda homes in Oct 2021. ** ******* ** **** ******** ****** ********** ** *****. 6 month inspected was done on 4/5/2022 and several issues were captured and have not been resolved. my concrete patio started chipping back in March. Emails were sent to Maronda about the status and I kept being told they have to contact the inspection Manager. The inspection was done 4 month ago and I am approaching the 1 year mark. Pictures were sent to Maronda and no response just bring it at the inspection. This was done and captured on the report. Also the window caulking was brought up and nothing has been done. I have part of a quad units. My neighbor's in 2062 filled a complaint about their loft not getting the correct air flow. It is very hot even with the vents wide open. I did not notice this in my loft until it started to get hot and it was after the 6 month inspection. The loft is not livable in the summer.

We have had a third party complete some testing on neighboring units and have a corrective action that will need completed.
