      We bought a Maytag washer and dryer from Nahas Furniture in Industry, PA, ***** about two weeks ago. When we used the dryer, a buzzing sound came from the plug/socket area. Thinking it had to be the wall receptacle, we had an electrician replace the receptacle. Two days later, when using the dryer, the sound returned. The problem must be in the dryer plug, since the wall receptacle had been replaced. We called Nahas about the issue, asking for a repairman to come to check out the new dryer. The man I talked to was surly and said they couldn't get to us until April 10. I explained that I was reporting a faulty NEW dryer, not asking for a repair job to an old one. He responded that he would not argue about it, that April 10 was the best they could do. I find this unacceptable concerning a new purchase. I "chatted" with Maytag on-line, but the chat was worthless. After I explained everything as I did above, they told me to "call the retailer where I bought the appliance." I asked them if they had even read my complaint! Can BBB help? We cannot wait 8 more days to use the dryer... Thank you.

      Bought fridge did not deliver till 5 days later, had to pay another Plummer 75.00 to hook up water supply, also had water to ice but no water from fridge outlet, now fridge is freezing everything,and someone is coming out Saturday and will make a decision on parts & fixing or replacement,meantime I had to buy small fridge for 150.00, I've been thru hell with this company and do not want to do business with them, they even did not use the steel line they brought out& took back, and that when I had to pay 75.00, please call them and get involved, THEIR # ************, TALK TO SCOTT, I WANT A FULL REFUND OF THE FRIDGE& 75.00 FOR EXTRA WORK, THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 30.00 EXTRA DOLLARS I PAID TO THE 3 MEN WHO Delivered, I GAVE OUT OF MY HEART! THANKYOU **** ****** ************!

      Spoke with **** this morning when he returned our call. His fridge has been serviced and is functioning properly. He asked about an extended service contract at a discount price. Since we'd like to help to alleviate concern over unnecessary expenditures between the 2nd & 5th years, we will work it up and get together with him to finalize next week.
