I was ripped off by Roto Rooter for *******. The plumber DOM cut a sewer pipe in my basment before bleeding the pipes and didn't drain the pipes befor cuting. Everything poured out on the floor. Then he refused to clean up the mess. He stated that wasn't his job and " I don't clean up s***". The plumber DOM didn't even clean up after himself. he left his dirty gloves, cut old pipe, left over new pipe, blades he used to cut the pipe, his measuring tape ect. We had the option of cleanig it up ourselves or paying a couple thousand for a cleaning crew. After he left and I went to take a shower and got a vocano of water shooting from the toilet because of the air that was in the pipes. After trying to clean the sewage in my basement all weekend, I did call Roto Rooter twice and eventually spoke to a manager who had an attitude and grudgingly sent a cleaning crew. But, they had strict instructions on how much they were allowed to clean up and to not move anything during the cleaning process. To top it off the original problem was never resolved. I just paid a local plumber ******. He stated that the drain was just clogged. He snaked the drain and the problem is sloved. That was all it needed. The plumber from *********************** stated that if there was a crack where DOM said there was, only about 2 maybe 3ft of pipe at most would have been need to be fix this. BUT, only after the drain had been bled and cleared. Roto Rooter DOM cut out and replaced 8ft of pipe, did not clear or bleed the drain first and left us with human waste all over our basement for us to clean up. All that was really needed was the drain to be snaked out and maybe a small piece of pipe. I feel they cheated me out of ******* to sell a more expesive job, left us in a biohazard, and didn't even fix the problem they were called for. As you can see on the invoice I was charded for a camera inspetion. DOM said it was clear. ******* showed it was very clogged and cleared it.I want to be reimbursed *******.

      Hello,
I should have mentioned in the first sentence that the reason Roto Rooter was called was to simply unclog the pipe running from my grinder pump. This explains a lot about the upset and frustration. Could this be added?

      Thank You,
