      On Saturday 7/2/2023, we discovered water backing up in basement just before midnight. Roto-Rooter was the first service able to attempt a clean out on Sunday morning. The technician was very friendly and worked hard with the drain auger without success. I then had another friendly surveyor come with the camera and discover a cluster of roots blocking access. The only option I was given was a lateral spot repair 20ft from my cleanout as an emergency repair for $6,918 on top of the $500.00 initial service call. As the friendly crew came on Monday, July 3rd, they started removing a small section of existing terracotta and finished the job by jet cleaning the line. The problem is going to reoccur. In hindsight, jet cleaning of the line should have been the only task performed as I now have to replace my entire sewer system and already have $7,500 dollars into essentially ***** a sanitation cleanse. Extremely friendly staff but VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER with the outrageous cost.
