1 starThey just want your money in Nashville at Lincoya Bay Apartments, they charge an extra $40 to use their rent portal to pay your rent as a convenience fee..... how is that convenient to me, also if you put in a maintenance request, you'll gave a mail that your request is completed only to come home and nothing is done but the maintenance has been in your apartment. don't move to any for their properties 10inchdubReview fromJulie P

1 starI have lived at Sherry Lake Apts since April 1, 2022. I have had maintenance requests that have still not been addressed to this day. That's only part of the issue. I brought my brand new daughter home from the hospital, after spending 2 weeks at CHOP for severe RSV in January of 2023, to an apartment with NO working HEAT!!! I was told to use a space heater (mind you I am a firefighter, so I know that is not a safe resolution). I asked for a break on my rent since the complex wasn't providing me with any healthy safe temporary fix for not only myself and my son, but again my brand new 1 month old daughter. I was forced to live like this for 3.5 weeks before FINALLY my heater was replaced. Then fast forward to the summer, I found mold on my floor by the floor vents. I was told by an OSCHA certified maintenance worker that it was not mold. I took her word and just had the vents vacuumed out (which there was trash and stuff in there from the early 2000's). The bedrooms were never even touched, until I put in an additional complaint that the bedrooms needed to be looked at as well. They too had MOLD (at home tested) and in my DAUGHTER's room, where the property manager told me she didn't see anything (wish I could insert photo here). Then I was belittled and treated like crap because I was late on rent (about to be evicted), locked out of my portal, so I couldn't pay or see my full balance. Then I was told because of my porch, they aren't able to rent other units in my building!!! I am supposed to help them, by removing an outdoor table, a thin red line wood flag sign, and salt for my patio in the winter, but they are never willing to help me out with anything!!! These people don't care about their tenants, only their money. It is time to lawyer up!!!Review fromJake D

1 starSame issue as another prospective tenant. Highly unprofessional staff with no sense of customer service nor any empathy. They charged me $ 150 for holding a property without showing me the apartment or even quoting me and refused to return my money or apologize. They are using apartments.com to falsely advertise their apartments amenities which they charge $60.00 a month for without advertising the additional charge. Worst property management company ever!Review fromDeasha H

1 starI have been renting with this place for 3 years and it has been the worst experience of my life. They allowed an upstairs neighbors dog to urinate all over my patio furniture and did not compensate me for the damage done to my property. They allow upstairs neighbors to litter all over my patio as well. There was a roach and nat infestation in my building and no member of management notified anyone. My apartment almost caught on fire because of my AC unit not being properly kept up with, even after multiple work order requests to have it fixed. I had to call the fire department because I woke up to smoke in my apartment. The fire department said it was coming from my AC and the dirty fans that they refused to fix, even after this happened. They will continue to raise your rent even though they have not improved the property at all. This is overall a terrible company to rent from. I lived in Village at Cliffdale.Review fromcarlos m

1 starYesterday I saw a 2 foot diameter swastika painted on the patio next to mine. Bright red and 3-D. I called the leasing office and spoke to someone named Christina who told me she would let the property manager know. The property manager is on vacation until next week so she lied. When I called back, I spoke to someone named Chris, who told me he overheard the conversation and that there was nothing he could do. As someone Jewish, I think it goes without saying what this symbol represents to me and the murder in the concentration camps of my entire paternal family. He laughed at me and mocked me and told me I would have to live with it. He refused to handle it. I wonder if the response would’ve been different if it was a racial discrimination case. I called the police who handled it. I also called and emailed a photo to the Anti Defamation League. I also called an attorney who told me they violated my civil rights, religious discrimination, and housing violations. I tried to reach out to Upper management but was refused their information. I will take action against them to the full extent of the law. I don’t feel safe living here for many other reasons too numerous to list here.Review fromArlyn M

1 starPreserve Milton in Downingtown PA is the worst! They refused to let me move out early when my neighbors were threatening to harm me, they tormented my cats and I reported this numerous times the leasing office did nothing about it. Now they have these people calling and threatening me repeatedly. The front office, especially Amy, doesn’t know what she is doing. She is rude and degrading and does not care about helping tenants. They lie, refuse to fix problems and lie. Do not rent from there.Review fromAnthony D

1 starI will continue to write reviews about this unprofessional and poorly managed property management company. I moved in on September 1st and it's been the worst. First, were the issues from my first bbb complaint and reviews. The last minute communication regarding my apartment and the address change. The parking fees for guest and the ridiculous and limited parking for paying residents. Right now I'm dealing with the most petty issues for no reason. This property management company expects their residents to pay rent on time, but they have roaches that I have seen in less than being here 30 days. In addition. I've emailed my leasing office at the Preserves Owings Crossing about a gym card to access gym , which is part of the amenities that I pay rent for, numerous times and all they can say is they can't get me one and I should use the gym during leasing hours. Well I informed them I work during those hours and I have a second job to provide them for their rent and my other bills. I have to go early morning or late evening after leasing office business hours. Secondly, why are we as residents having to pay for a reserved parking pass? Why aren't we offered at least 1 free reserved parking pass. Parking is horrible and limited in addition guest have to pay for parking. This is ridiculous. I've contacted their corporate office and Rebecca doesn't absolutely nothing as a regional manager. She refers you back to the local office and no one is accountable. In addition there is water damage on the roof in my kitchen. I live on top floor and this maybe roof issues. I shouldn't have to take these concerns to the bbb to get them resolved.
