Our Daughter age 19 but does not look a day over 16 went behind our backs to get a dog from Greenfield Puppies and one of their breeders. She wanted a Doberman (not sure why) we have no experience with the breed. She purchased the dog. Never received a bill of sale, no id, no background check etc. So, she purchased the dog and would call us crying as the dog had a bunch of scratches on his head and worms. We contacted the breeder. Two days later she started to realize that she did not have the room for the puppy as she lives in an apartment with an extremely small fenced in yard. She contacted the breeder about returning the dog. He reluctantly was willing to take it back and was willing to refund her 400 of her 925 payment. Now believe me, we are very confident that our daughter was at a decent amount of fault here, but the advertisement is "connecting puppies to families" . She was clear that she was a student but he sold it to her anyhow. I just would be very cautious of someone selling a dog that never contacted anyone about it. As an adult, we have rescued give dogs over out life and everyone of them does a house visit or reference check, etc. My wife and I actually offered to take the dog (because his wife was making comments about the amount of food and price of vaccinations) to try and help out, but he was only focused on selling the dog to us all over again. Just seems that good business practice would be to ask for an ID, especially when the potential owner looks so young. For what its worth he did give her about 40% of her purchase price back. Luckily the vet would not vaccinate him due to him having worms, crusty eyes, and the scratches on his head or she would be out thata money as well.

I found a great bernedoodle mini puppy, breeder was great. However in my search I talked to a guy who I think was a hoax. Be smart yourself. Check things out. Don’t blame the messenger.

I couldn't imagine my life without colt. I had a great experience through the buying process. They were friendly and receptive to inquiries. We ended up not looking at any other dogs and left with colt. One year later we couldn't be happier with this purchase and addition to the family.

It amazes me how many wonderful reviews greenfield puppies gets. Why? Because they pay for it the real story is they are a puppy mill broker, who do not even check the breeders to make sure that these dogs are not sick or miss treated it’s a joke. I purchased a Doberman from them years ago that died 16 weeks later from a heart disease that both parents had. The breeder knew it and sold the entire litter and I found out the entire litter died. Do not purchase in your next pet from this broker, they will rob you break your heart and laugh all the way to the bank Always ask yourself why there’s no negative reviews to read. I doubt you’ll see this one.

I purchased a Boston Terrier puppy from Greenfield Puppies, breeder Nathan H***** in Stevens Pa. My dog was just diagnosed with Congenital Hydrocephalus. Fluid on the brain. This condition happens in the mother's womb usually due to poor prenatal care. It cannot be cured. The doctor said she was surprised my dog lived for 3 years. She had to be put down. When I drove to Pa to pick up my puppy, the breeder wouldn't let me come to his home because it was Sunday and his religion wouldn't allow him to do business; I was told to pick up my puppy from his Uncle's house. Should have been a red flag, but the family was so excited to get her. I asked if he would take a picture of the puppy's parents on his phone and send it to me. Never got a picture.' Greenfield Puppies' claim the dogs sold through their site are healthy! This was a birth defect. If the breeder was reputable he would have been aware. All this heart ache because of liars and scammers!

These puppies are from puppy mills. Do not buy a puppy from this website. They are either sick or have bad skin conditions. We were going to purchase a puppy from a breeder but once we saw the dog’s condition decided against it. The breeder refused to give our deposit back.

I bought my Rottweiler in July 2021. He ended up having round worms, severe itching, acne, bumps on his skin, etc. Of course, my luck, these issues were within the 30 days and some after. I found out in October that he has hip dysplasia, which it is believed to be he had it when he was a couple of months old. I am disgusted by this because it’s hard to see him in pain.

This breeder really did me (and my dog) an injustice. He said he was healthy and is experienced with breeding Rottweilers. I’m wondering how many other rotts of that litter, and all others are suffering from some genetic defect. He should NOT be able to breed any more! This off severely inhumane to the poor puppies being bred by hereditary/genetic defects. I paid close to $2,000 for him and would hope the breeder was honest and not just trying to rip us off.

I have to pay almost every week-week and a half to pay for his physical therapy, and all of the vet bills for all of his issues over the past two years, it’s ridiculous! If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible and so unfair to me and especially all of the dogs suffering because of negligence. I can not imagine how many other “broken” dogs have been bred by him.

He had is daughter (less than 10 years old, approximately) and a woman, that knew nothing about the puppies, give me information on the basic questions. The breeder didn’t have the decency to be home when we picked him up, that should have been the first red flag.

I would NOT buy from this breeder. Please be careful if you do. It’s terrible what he’s done and that he bred with defective parents. Just appalling. I’ve had many dogs in my 57 years and NEVER came in contact with someone like Am** in Quarryville, PA.

Greenfield Puppies, LLC. should be investigated.

    1. Their site claims to be BBB Accredited and are using the official BBB logo. The BBB site declares they ARE NOT BBB accredited. If this is true, this is a violation of federal law 15 USC 1125. This should be investigated.

    2. “Presenting only the best puppies for sale” is false advertising. Period. They claim they “expect” their breeders to follow their state guidelines. On several complaints with the BBB, their responses explicitly state they do not have records for these dogs. They have no way to prove their claim that these are only the best puppies. This is misleading and should be investigated.
