      I am currently on a phone with CSR Saudia, waiting on someone of expertise to look into my account. I hear kids in the back ground. I have been trying to get this issue resolved for the last couple of weeks on a daily. I need my 401K from vanguard rolled over into my current Fidelity account. I have went to get documents notarized, while sitting on the phone with a vanguard CSR to help walk me through the steps, when I sent off the documentation. I received a response saying that the document was incorrect and I needed a letter of instruction. I sent in this letter of instruction, stating exactly what the CSR told me to write. Yet, this was incorrect as well. I spoke with a young lady, that said she was waiting on the okay from a person of expertise since I had completed a few documents, I just needed the check reissued or rolled over. Not other information needed to changed. I requested for this lady to give me a call back, no response. I called a day or so later asking for a supervisor to give me a call back concerning this matter, no response. Everytime I call I ask for the call to be recorded and my account to be noted, which every CSR says all calls are recorded, yet, they do not ever know what I'm talking about and the issue with reissuing the check/rolling over the funds is still unresolved. I have currently been dealing with this same issue for 2 years.

      Vanguard is not performing in good faith. I was executor of an estate with a Vanguard IRA. There was a clear beneficiary. This beneficiary was not in the US and not a US citizen. They finally moved the money into an inherited IRA in their name, but now will not release the funds to their bank account. A lawyer was retained, a complaint made, and they still will not release the money. They just don't care and will do whatever it takes to keep the money. They told me initially that they handle this situation all the time with foreign beneficiaries, but there is not one single person that they dealt with that knew how to handle it. They've lost paperwork, they don't return calls, they don't respond to legal correspondence or complaints. If you're considering Vanguard, just don't. I'm taking my money out of there, pronto.

      I have an account with Vanguard for 15 years. In 2021, Vanguard wouldn't let me do anything with my own account saying my identity could not be verified. I would recommend no one put their money in a Vanguard account.

      We have a mutual fund account with vanguard for awhile and we really like the company. Therefore, we didn’t hesitate to open 529 accounts for our baby right after having him around February. For some reason, we couldn’t see the account online so we contacted the company about the problem. We have contacted them so many times and all we get the same answer that they have contacted the IT department, they put in the ticket, and waited for it to be fixed. We just don’t understand why such a big company can’t fix the problem since February and it has been six months already. It’s so frustrating when we can’t see or do anything with the account. We decided to call again today and we got the exactly same answer again. This time, we asked to talk with the supervisor to see if there would be different solution. However, the agent said that she couldn’t find the supervisor, she did left the message, and her supervisor would call us back today. We waited and no one called us at all. We feel they don’t really take us seriously or care about the customer at all. We are so disappointed about the company, and we think about transferring our money to a different company if the problem doesn’t fix soon.

      Associates will do absolutely nothing to help you and will find the most mild and banal of reasons to hold up any sort of withdrawal. I wish my employer hadn't switched to them and I would give 0 stars if I could.
