Few months ago i informed the store manager of Cubesmart at the ******** location there was rodents in my unit at that time the employees gave me bait to place in the unit that created even more of a nightmare I contacted DM Nick D***** at the time about the Rat/rodents Problem i explained him I had two units with Cubesmart with the same problem One was paid in full for a year he asked if I wanted to move to another unit So I did Mr. D***** discounted the new unit for $300 but there was no available units in the similar size for the second unit he agreed to keep the monthly rent at $212 after the year was ** in February. He told me to contact him once another unit becomes available he will see what can be done After another 2 months I tried to contact the DM I spoke with prior but he was no longer with the company I finally was able to get a unit in similar size once I got into unit #***** to move my stuff it was just a total mess with rat Feces everywhere. I had to transfer everything to the new unit The new unit cost me more then the previous unit which I did not cater for. I was contacted by Sharjeel S************ the new DM he did nothing to solve the Issue. He told me I can contact the insurance company or he can send out the exterminator so I asked him for the person above him he gave me the email to the district VP Tom S******** in March I sent pictures of some of the damaged/disposed and contaminated items. 3/20 Mr S***** asked me for a total of the damaged/disposed items he said if it's a fair amount he will see what he can do if not he would file a claim. I sent him an email for the amount of $3000 that's the amount I paid for the year and did not include all the damages 4/29 Mr. S************** asked I send him a list with total of all damages the list total went beyond $12000 4/14 Mr. S************* called he offered me $1500 That's not even what I paid for the year I would consider $5000 and the two units paid up for a year

I got a promotional discount in November 2019, which I knew was going to expire, causing the rate to be 35% more than it was at the initial move-in. (They alleged that they were giving 35% off the regular price.)Factoring this in, I made sure that the regular price was within my budget, before committing. It went up slightly in July 2020, which I had no problem with...it was within the 35% range, and thereby within my budget. It went up again in July 2021, to just around the 35% mark, which again...I had no problem with... it was within the 35% range, and thereby within my budget. So, the most one might expect is a July 2022 change to completely get rid of the 35% discount that was applied at the time of rental. But NOOO--- In April 2022, I got an email from them saying my payment failed. So I first contact the card issuer. My bank declined the transaction because it was flagged as fraud. The amount was different than the pattern of charges that the bank recognized (date, amount, merchant, etc.). I reached out to the storage facility and advised that there was an error, and if they corrected the amount, the charge would go through. I was advised that they increased the rate intentionally. RATE IS NOW DOUBLE the amount it was when I started .I requested that it be escalated to GM Roland C******** or his supervisor. On 4/15: "We will check with our district manager to see if there is anything that can be done for you." It was on autopay, so I never looked at the invoices. After the discrepancies, I looked, and they still have it as though they are giving me a promotion of 35% off... so it became clear to me that they were just playing with the numbers to make it appear that regardless of the rate they charge, they pretend that it is 35% off regular price. What they are dong is false advertisement. It leads customers to believe that they are getting a discount and that they will not be charged more than the regular price after the promotion goes away.

I received a phone call from the manager stating he had my check but it "was short". I asked for clarification and it was explained that rent for my storage unit had gone up. I was then asked if "I [reveived] the notice". I replied that I "had not" and asked why my rent had gone up explaining that this was the second increase in six months (I do not remember receiving a notice about the previous increase nor can I find any record of a notice in my emails). The manager went on to say that units my size 'are going for far more than I am paying" and that because "they are in high demand". By the end of the conversation I was advised that he will "accept my payment and apply the payment for this month only" (which I appreciate) and was warned that next month the "full amount" (with the increase) would be due next month. -
