  Mike was a manager that talked too. He played with me at first acting non chalantly when he who knew whoI was and what I was complaining about. They had tricked me and said first month was free. Not at all they put fees on top of fees and got me for 55. The normal price is 55. These fees are just another way for this dishonest to get your money. He was not nice not professional and hung up on me. I was saying your charging me a 100 dollars for a 5by which you can find for 50 or 55 dollars, Even on their websites they never explained this ridiculous price hidden in small letters. Saying it was my problem for signing, I was tricked be aware they well be so nice to you talking whatever else thing but the exorbant prices they charge. This is a perfect example of corporate greed at its best. Switch and bait where the only goal is to trick and gouge innocent hardworking individuals unlike these local and regional managers. They must get a pretty penny for their bonuses. Don't trust them. Nothing is free they well trick and gouge you. The one quality a cubesmart employee has is they are greedy and dishonest. Welcome to the most dishonest storage company built on greed and distrust Cubesmart. I'm shouting this out .. Keep away..

  I've been renting a storage unit from Cube Smart for nearly 3 years in Riverside CA. In April my husband came down with COVID and suffered cardiac arrest. We almost lost him. Needless to say, my mind was preoccupied and I did not make my storage payment. Yesterday, Cubesmart called me at 11am and left me a voice mail message while I was at work, in the middle of a training session advising me that my unit was going to be auctioned off at 130pm! They had not called me one time, not emailed me one time, not texted me one time, not sent me a certified letter advising me of a lien sale. All of my pictures of my children and ashes of my murdered family member are gone forever! My furniture in my 10x20 unit could be replaced, but those things cannot. They illegally sold my unit by not sending me a certified notice of lien sale. I would like my irreplaceable items back. We have been residing at the same address with my parents since we've retained said storage unit, therefore Cubesmart cannot use the excuse of not being able to contact me. Please help me resolve this issue. The manager at this Cubesmart is a very uncaring, unsympathetic person. We are heart broken. Our Autistic son also had some things in that unit as well and this has caused him to go into a deep depression. I thought maybe with COVID, landlord's were giving folks a break these days, but the dollar is mightier than the heart.

  Have been with them approximate 6 months. Recieved a card advising me of a price increase 50%. This is highway robbery. I will be looking for a new place for my storage needs. Don't do business with these people unless you want to be ripped off.

  I took a locker with Cubesmart in Charlestown, MA, before leaving for several months in Europe. While abroad, they sent me a note that my locker was terminated and giving me a month to vacate. It turns out that they only rented the facility, the building had been sold, and they had never negotiated any sort of transition process. The people working at the facility were stressed but had no support. I had to line up (and pay for a mover), arrange another locker, and they didn't even cancel my upcoming payment for the month agead (when the facility will be closed). With movers and overlap this will end up costing me 500$. I'm told the next Cubesmart facility over will give a 10% discount for new customers (maybe for a whole 3 months). They don't seem to have any sort of national policies or overall customer support. Even when the problems are on their side.

  So the gate at my facility in Belmont, NC has been broken for going on 6 weeks now (I have video to prove it) and the manage there simply does not care. I made plans to move out this Tuesday since my belongings are CLEARLY not protected and emailed her to let her know and she never apologized and was basically nonchalant and couldn't care less!
