  HORRIBLE! I don't even want to give them one star! You try to talk to them on the phone and their staff talks over you, can't seem to route checks to the right account, treats you like you're a liar, and then they send out lien letters on accounts that are PAID. Where is the accountability! Someone please investigate these people, something isn't right! There are so many complaints about them I don't see how they stay in business!

  Every year for the last 10 years I have been owed a refund on my local taxes from Jordan Tax Service. Every year for the last 10 years they have said they were not sending me my refund since I work in an impoverished area (their words). Now I find out the I owe back county taxes from 2021 in the amount of $202.36. They say with fees and compound interest I now owe them $ ******. This company is stealing from taxpayers and nobody seems to care.

  My advice is to file complaints to the Pa. Attorney generals office. The new AG. Is sick of this place and all the complaints they are receiving. Most people that interact with this company don't have the means to retain council. Keep your eyes open for a class action. When you see it join it

  I wish I could give this company 0 stars. Thats how disgusted I am with them. I have been trying to get my sewage bill corrected since August 24th 2023. Ever since JTS took over, my sewage bill has been wrong. It appears as though this is a common theme in other reviews. I have emailed them 3 times, with no response back. That right there tells you something! I have also called and spoke with *** twice. All she tells me is that its fixed and to just pay the $68. Even though the website does not reflect this. Meanwhile I was told the same thing back in November for the November bill. Now they are charging me late fees for not paying the residual balance they were supposed to take off. I am so sick of fighting with these people and not getting anywhere. I have also asked to speak to a supervisor but he is conveniently always out of the office and never returns my calls.

  Second time in three years they have cheated me out of a refund (They say anything over $1 will be refunded, they owe me $61 ). They are liars, cheaters, and THIEVES. They are con artists. I DEMAND my refund that I am owed be refunded.

  I received my sewage bill that was $35 over my normal bill. the agent said it was a late charge by one day. My personal account was hacked and I had to change the auto draft a/c but apparently I was one day late. I have been a customer for almost 40 years and would appreciate a refund of the $35.00.The first agent I talked to was very abrupt and said she could not help me, but I called back for more help and the second agent, *** was very helpful and kind.I really would appreciate a refund on the late charge ***************************.

  If negative stars were allowed they would get ten. Closed on a new house in may 2021 and established an escrow account at closing with more than enough of an initial deposit to pay all 2021 taxes (partial year). They never billed the escrow company in 2021, but did in 2022. So my 2022 taxes got paid. Found out my 2021 taxes were not paid out of escrow when I got a delinquent notice last week from Washington County that included $652 in penalties, interest, and costs. Escrow company never got interim tax bill for 2021. Multiple voicemails left at Jordan but never a return call.   Im fighting with them about a $25 late fee - it wont bankrupt me but Im not paying because its not my fault that I never received a bill from them (and when I finally did, I promptly paid what I originally owed).

  Over the past six months Jordan Tax Services are not providing sewage bills regularly to me and I live in ********** **. If I do get one, arrives 2 days before its due. I have called numerous times to resolve this and they are so unprofessional, the lady hung up on me. When i did talk with someone, i was told i can go online to pay but come to find out there is a fee. So let me get this straight...you fail to send my bill so i get a late fee, then I get penalized by having to pay the bill online because you are not resolving this issue for me? This is unacceptable!!

  I sold a rental property on April 7th, 2022. Due to how sewage fees are calculated I was required to pay $140 in estimated sewage fees to Jordan Tax Service at closing. I was told it would take a couple of weeks but that once the final sewage payment was known I would receive a refund check for the difference between what was owed and the estimated payment. Since I was told this is the way the process works for every real estate sell, and there are likely thousands of real estate transactions that require refunds, I assumed there would not be a problem. In October I was reviewing the closing documents and asked my wife when we received the refund check. She said we never did. On 10/20, I called JTS to inquire about my refund. I provided details about the sell to a woman at JTS who was able to locate my information. She confirmed the amount I was owed as well as the payee for the check and the address of where the check should be sent. She said my refund had been "overlooked" and that JTS would get a check in the mail the next day. No check came so on 10/31, I called JTS again. I spoke with the same woman and was told the check had not been sent and was awaiting signature of the approver. She said she would let him know I was looking for my refund. As of today, 11/9 no check has been received. I called my municipality's Tax Office and was connected with an individual who works with JTS. She said she would contact them on my behalf. The reason I am writing this review is because per this website, I am not the only person who has had this experience. JTS is an accounting firm. They are the supposed to be experts at accounting for sewage payments and taxes owed. How is it that money that I am owed is somehow "overlooked" for over 5 months? Shouldn't they have reports that show who is owed a refund? How many others have had a sewage refunds "overlooked?" Why do I have to keep asking JTS for my refund? Who is JTS accountable to? I think JTS needs to be audited.
