We dropped off our 2016 Nissan ****** on Monday December 11, 2023. It was scheduled for several things on Tuesday, December 12 2023 one, we scheduled to have the driver's side window repaired as it no longer was working. Two, we were told during a previous appointment that the car's computer needed updating, a light was on supposedly indicating that we needed this done. We also had an oil change done. We have a warranty we purchased from another company. Montgomeryville Nissan called Tuesday and stated they ordered the wrong partand had to order the correct one. Montgomeryville Nissan called yesterday Wednesday December 13 informing us that the car wasn't finished. We were told upon installing the window, they discovered that some parts were missing and that the warranty would only cover the motor. We would have to pay for new glass and clips. they also replaced bulbs stating these were needed. Our complaint is, they said they didn't realize that some clips were missing and should have told us they were missing. they now want to charge us for these parts they supposedly discovered were missing and new glass. They did tell us the motor was all that was needed at first and then had an "Oh by the way" moment. We do not understand how a certified technician can take apart a window to replace the motor and not realize that other parts were missing.? Today, Thursday, December 14, 2023, the ****** is still not finished. Since we don't want to pay the $1300 it's going to cost just for clips and new glass which we cannot figure out why we need new glass in the first place. We're still stuck with a window that does't work. They used underhanded tactics/practices by adding other items to our bill like bulbs that supposedly needed replacing. We feel they are not being honest with us. We don't trust them and will never take our car to have it serviced there again.

This customer purchased an extended warranty from an outside company on their own. When we began the repair or replacement of the door regulator, we noticed that the clips which are attached or epoxied to the glass were broken. This was not evident in the initial check out as we had  not unbolted anything yet. We contacted the customer's extended warranty and they denied coverage on those additional components. Whether we noticed the broken clips before we started the repair, the outcome would still be the same. The warranty company covered their electrical motor, but denied the window glass. The customer is not happy that additional parts are necessary and not covered. We advised the customer that we would provide them with an additional discount on the parts, but that wasn't acceptable. We will be glad to afford them a 20% discount on the parts and install the glass with no additional labor cost, even though the door must be completely disassembled once again.

Purchased a used vehicle 7/10/2020. At the time I also purchased an extended warranty. I havent needed it until recently upon looking at the original documents the packet excluded the first page of warranty. I contacted the name of warranty company and they stated they have no policy for my vehicle in my name. My warranty purchase price was $2971.00.

I bought a 2016 ******** *** *** from them on 3/1/23, for $22,000. I saw there were bubbles in the tires, as well as the heat shield hanging off the bottom, and it wasn't detailed because they just got it. The heat shield was fixed, but after driving the car for a couple months I noticed a very slow leak in my driver side front tire. I notified, and gave them FULL EVIDENCE using videos and photos from the night I looked at the vehicle, as were as photos they used on their website, that the tires had bubbles in them when it was sold to me. I was told the service center performed an inspection, and the car had no problems, and since it was just out of warranty they were done with it. I also informed them that my car intermittently jerks when I accelerate, and told them it may be the crankshaft positioning sensor. I was told it was just from the turbo and the CPS has nothing to do with jerking by *******. Throughout a month long process I’ve been on the phone with various people from the dealership trying to clear this issue. I kept getting sent to answering machines of the “higher ups” who never answer, or returned my messages. Eventually the sales manager offered to pay for 1 tire, to which I declined. These were runflats $$$. No one there took accountability for this. I got the tires changed myself in July, and the technician told me my rim was cracked, and there was a weld next to the crack where it was fixed before. Also told me the tread on my front tires were 2/32nds, compounded with the cracked and welded rim, and the bubbles in 3 of the tires it should have never been sold to me that way and couldn’t have passed inspection. After notifying the dealership of this problem, no one there will respond to my messages and the only person I can contact is ***, my sales rep who states he has no power to make decisions. I have plenty of evidence proving this car should not have been sold to me in this condition and they’re basically telling me “it’s your problem now”.

I did hear from the dealership via phone call after I made them aware, and sent them evidence of a crack, as well as a weld from an old crack on one of my rims. They basically told me they would not do anything to fix this issue because the guys in the service department said they inspected it properly, contrary to the evidence I have showing otherwise. Because its now out of warranty, theyre basically telling me its my problem now and theyve even withdrawn their original offer to pay half the price of 2 new tires if I decided to purchase them. They should have never sold me that vehicle with a welded AND cracked rim.

Thanks for your consideration in this matter.  After reviewing **. ******* file and service records there was no mention of any issues with the vehicle until 5 months after purchase.  The vehicle has PA emissions and inspection stickers that were produced before purchase by our dealer with no issue to speak of in regards to failing PA standards.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I told you guys about this problem when I had my first oil change. It was FOUR months from date of purchase, and when I went and got the tires changed myself I was notified by the mechanic that I should have never been allowed to drive off of the lot with the CRACK AND WELD WHERE AN OLD CRACK WAS FIXED on my driver side front rim. This is a problem that is ONLY visible if I go to get my wheels taken off. When you *** ****** did my oil change/ multi point inspection, they STILL never said ANYTHING about the weld and crack, and they noted the bubbles and offered to sell me new tires. Fact is this dealership sold me a car that was, and is, a complete safety hazard, and never should’ve been sold to me in its condition. Cars don’t even pass safety inspection with cracks and welds in the rims so I’m wondering how it passed safety with the crack, weld, and 2/32nds of tire tread on the front tires.

As we appreciate **. ************** tenacity and insistence that he would like monetary compensation for this vehicle. We are unable to do so as there is no documentation from time of sale and original inspection of the vehicle to support his claims.

****** I payed $5000 for a used **** ****** from this dealership in August of 2021. This year when inspection came around I found out that it hasnt passed inspection in the pass 4 years and that the emissions has been waived for 4 years. They sold me a car that is defective and charged me more then what the car was worth. Also gave me misinformation on the cars condition saying that it has passed inspection.

    To Whom it May Concern,

This response is addressing Better Business Bureau Complaint ID# ******** filed by ******** ********.

*** ******** purchased a 2009 **** ****** from Montgomeryville Nissan in August of 2021. The vehicle does not have an emissions issue as much conversation with the state has resulted in their granting an emissions waiver. There is a communications issue between the current emissions equipment and the vehicles onboard system. When the vehicle is due for its next emissions test another waiver will be provided by the state to *** ********.

I was made aware of *** ******** visiting our location recently and having discussion with or General Sales Manager Peter H********. Mr. H******** offered to buy the vehicle for $2500.00 which is more than half of the original sale price of $4889. transacted a year and a half ago. This is a fourteen year old vehicle that still has both trade and retail value. I encourage *** ******** to pursue the trade or purchase options with Mr. H******** who i know is eager to assist.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

    1. I payed $4800 + $800 (for the car I traded in)=$5600*
    2. I reached out 7 months ago about the problem, so less then a year after i purchased.

    3. Mr H******** told me to talk to Steve B********.

    4. My problem is that I would of never bought the vehicle if I knew i would have to waive it every year. Also the price of $5600 that the car was given when i bought it would be significantly less since it didn't pass inspection.

    5. Your shop put stickers on this car knowing that the emissions test didnt go through.
