    on 12/13/24 we placed a order for Item item VFSE18N with log set LSI18CB We dealt with ***** ****** the owner he told us it would take about 6 weeks for delivery and installation At that time we gave him a check for $1666.80 Deposit he has had our deposit for 4 months {16weeks] Sorry I cannot guess how many times I have tried to call him I have talked to MR ****** once at that time he gave me a long story about some builder in Phila. who supposedly told him he would not pay him a large balance of money unless he supplied him only that was about 6 weeks ago now it seems the showroom phone is off the hook and his cell phone is never answered and of course voice mail is full About 2 weeks ago his manager told me she talked to their supplier and we would get a call for installation THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED MY PHONE ************

    I specified, priced and placed an order for a fireplace insert from ******************************** The deposit in the amount of $2,506.15 (via check# ***) was paid to Dreifuss Fireplaces for a **************** Fireplace insert on 22 January 2025, deposited to Dreifuss' account #******** on 27 January 2025. I was told the order was placed by ******** and the unit had a 4-6 week lead time. I had set up installation on 25 February 2025. The unit was NOT installed and was told it was not even ordered. I was told that ******************************* was on credit hold with many of their vendors.I called and left multiple messages trying to get an update. The last verbal conversation I had with the owner, ***** ****** was he was working on the issue and the product will be delivered and installed by 14 March 2025, which it was not.I sent multiple emails and voicemails requesting my deposit gets refunded, with no response,As of today, the phones are disconnected and no one is in the office. I will most likely have to take them to small claims court.

    On 04DEC2024 we put 60% down on the purchase and installation of a new propane fireplace. The details of the transaction and the purchase are provided with the attached supporting documentation. I have been attempting to get an update on our project (now, over 3 months since we paid the deposit) for over 2 weeks. No one will return my calls, nor answer any questions about my project. We want 100% of our deposit returned and the job cancelled.

    I am aware that there are no further actions required by me regarding my complaint, but I am curious if you have made any headway at all with contacting this business.  I am becoming exceedingly discouraged that I have not heard from either the business or the BBB.  Thank you.

    I put down a 50% deposit on 11/25/2024. I was told my stove would be delivered in 4-8 weeks. It is 2/14/2025 (almost THREE MONTHS since my deposit) and there is no stove in sight. I have tried calling many times for updates. Most of the time, no one answers the phone and there's no voice mail. The only time I have been able to get anyone on the phone, I was told it was backordered and no one could offer me any approximate date when it might come in. I have emailed ***** ****** and wrote an email. No reply. What kind of business is this?? Obviously they do not care about their customers. I am infuriated as this is a major purchase and I read (mostly) positive reviews of this place. Like another review mentioned, the sales team will call you relentlessly, but then they drop out of sight. I will be filing a police report. Avoid this place like the plague.

    When getting my quote and finalizing a sale. My phone would not stop ringing with several phone calls in a week with voicemails telling me to call back so the deal can be finalized. Once my $2500 deposit was secured by January 17, I was told it would be four weeks For my fireplace to be delivered and installed. It is now March 7 and l've been fighting for a week to get my deposit back. A week ago I was told my order was never placed even though I was told when I gave a $2500 deposit that was so the order could be placed. Once deposit was taken back on January 17 there was absolute silence from the sales staff and owner *****. I made several phone calls and emails and spoke with the receptionist who has been very nice. Every single time I called both **** and ***** are not in the office and working from home, I was told my deposit return was initiated on March 4, yet my credit card company has no indication of return being initiated. I called on Tuesday, March 5 asking for an email confirming my deposit return was initiated with no email or response, I called again today, March 7 to find out from ***** the status of the refund and was only sent to a voicemail. Total cost of fireplace was $7600 I had to fill out a financing packet and my credit was ran to be approved through synchrony bank. I would like my deposit back since the item has not be delivered as promised. Or even ordered for that matter. As well as a credit restoration since my credit was ran for nothing.
