      Their staff in the hospital are super friendly, but their billing system sucks. I had 3 bills from one outpatient surgery from July 2023. I called them about setting up a payment plan on 10/23/23. One bill was in the $300s, one in the $200s, and one for $20. I wanted more info on the bills since it seems I’m being double billed for a few things and asked for an itemized list of the charges. The minimum they would do for ONE bill was $50 and wouldn’t budge on lowering it. I told them I’d do what I could but couldn’t do $50 and she said I’d be sent to collection. Also if I didn’t set up a payment plan on the phone that day I’d be sent to collections before getting the itemized bill in the mail. She wasn't happy with my response “well if it goes to collections, I have the option to pay a lower amount and you guys don’t get paid the full amount, so let’s do that” then had to re confirm that was just for one bill and that I can’t combine them. All of a sudden they could combine my two larger ones for $50/month. The $20 bill has a doctor I’m not familiar with and when she looked up the account number, she told me it was for some thing from 2022 that was sent to collections but she couldn’t tell me what it was. I don’t have anything in collections with them from 2022 and the statement date was from my surgery in July. She gave me a phone number to call to follow up on that. I called them and provided the account number and was told, it wasn’t even for me. Today I get a phone call that it is for me and whoever I spoke with in the other department gave me the wrong information twice because their account numbers are so similar, asked for the itemized list since I’m not familiar with the doctor. She told me I had to look on the portal, but the portal only has options for paying, no additional information. She then gave me a phone number to call for portal support. called them and you get sent to India with someone who can’t even figure out what you’re talking about.
