      Concast criminals holding me hostage at address that ONLY uses Comcast for hispeed internet in Seattle so I can't switch and they know it My desktop PC has turned into one big hackable smartphone with their XB3 Gateway that constantly uses up my electricity to pay for wifi access I myself do not get to use since my PC and phone are connected only by ethernet and telephone line. I can't even leave this review since filling out my name address and phone with Comcast leads to 404 error! Thye have assigned me a blacklisted ip, abuse, hack and censor me.

      Tried to renew an expiring two year contract with xfinity triple play. Would not agree to give me same package at close to the same price. Spoke to 3 agents and 2 supervisors in the same day. First agent signed me up for the same price and told me it was the same package. Received the confirmation in an email and it was a downgraded packed for $20 more that I was currently paying. Called back an hour later to cancel and keep what I currently have and was told it was to late. Package I currently have was cancelled when I agreed to the new one and would have to agree to another package that was even more money. When I said no, agent said he would have to put me on a no contract package for my final month of the prior 2 yr contract. This package was $150 more than I was currently paying. Hung up on that agent and called back to speak to a supervisor. 3rd agent would not give me a supervisor and tried to talk me into a another package with another price. Finished with him, called back a fourth time for a supervisor and an agent stating he would have to hear my complaint first, so he could inform his supervisor. He also tried to get me to agree to a completely different price package. Had to call back a fifth time to get someone in the retention dept. He was the only one who explained that comcast prices have gone up and they don’t match what new customers get for pricing no matter how long you have been a customer. Didn’t want to call him a liar, but I had been a customer for 7 years and after every 2 year contract they were able to renew at almost the same price. I also stated if a package cost a certain amount, why was I quoted 4 different prices for the same package that were not even close to one another. He could not answer and I knew it was a colossal waste of time to try and renew with Comcast. There is one price for new customers to get them in, once in they make up their own pricing to fleece you. I will cancel and try Verizon Fios.
