      We have been trying to cancel our merchant account for several months and get no, or conflicting responses from InstaMed. When we talk to a live person, we are told we'll have a resolution within a few days, which does not happen. We have sent several emails with no response. It should not be this difficult to cancel a merchant account.

      Used Instamed before and never had an issue. Recently went to the hospital and since August, provider has been unable to locate payment for my ER co-pay. Been back and forth with Instamed and the hospital about this. Can't get refund as "it was direct deposited". About to dispute charge with bank. I don't have the funds to pay the hospital a second time because someone doesn't have their crap together.

      this is fraudulent - my healthcare has never heard of them and they were never paid. I was then “approved” for a payment refund that I never received.

      Incredibly disappointed with InstaMed. Went to the ER while on vacation in Florida in August. I see I am able to pay with InstaMed through my insurance provider, Cigna's, website. I pay the $150 copay and think all is well. Weeks go by and I receive an email saying my payment is still pending, but that I can cancel the payment if I'd like. Nervous that the bill could go to collections, I paid $150 to the hospital directly. I received an email from them (same day, mind you) that I was all set since I paid for it directly. I requested a refund from InstaMed for $150 on October 12th. A few days later, I receive a reponse saying that my refund was approved but I still have not received my refund in my bank account. I opened a support ticket with their customer service and after 5 days of no reponse, I replied to my own email. Then I get an automated response saying I reopened the case, as they had closed it without even contacting me first. How rude! Just opened another new ticket and this one provided a phone number. I'm going to give them another day to respond me before I call. NEVER use InstaMed! I will never use them again.

      Payment was removed from my checking account - they supposedly sent it to my Dr. billinb site - I put in the CORRECT ADDRESS for payment - payment was NEVER received by my physician - Instamed finally told me they were refunding my payment - NEVER RECEIVED REFUND

      Should be zero stars - SCAM - I received an e-mail and when I try to login into the portal to reset your password you have to enter the last 4 digits of your bank account. Tried calling the number in the e-mail and guess what....was put on hold with long call waits only to be disconnected.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I paid this company and my dr office never heard of this company. I am currently trying to get my money back. Nearly 500 dollars.

      Horrible customer service. This company has a complete lack of understanding of its customers or how to communicate effectively. I have tried for three weeks to get $40 refunded. Emails say that it's been refunded and takes 3-5 business days. That is long past. I call to get info and the agents act is if they are being bothered. I would strongly encourage anyone thinking of using this service to think again. I will go old school and send a check going forward

      their support is HORRIBLE. their site will tell you to call in, then their support line will hang up on you after waiting 15 minutes on hold, telling you to send an email. once you send an email, it takes a full day for a response, they don't have anyone who can ACTUALLY help troubleshoot an issue. just trying to pass the buck all day and close out their support cases. they don't deserve to do business. site never saves information appropriately, and it's declining my card repeatedly, even though it works elsewhere and my bank has no failed transactions on record.
