    Got a new hvac unit outside our house. Wasnt heating the house efficiently so I called a different company to come look at it. They told us they did not install the electric heat kit. So I called Goodman and told them their mistake and they told me they would order one asap. Its been over a month and I havent heard anything at all from them. Our electricity bill is sky high from it constantly running because it cant keep up with the cold. All because they forgot to install the electric heat kit. What ********. Still waiting.

    I have been a loyal customer of this business for three years purchasing many goods and services. They have changed drastically in the last year. We bought a home water descaled from their technician who assured us that it was the best solution for our hard water. He said the filter would need changed every year at a cost of about $200. The first year we had it replaced it was $300. The next replacement was $450. Recently we were quoted a price of $795. With a new baby on the way we felt we had no choice and scheduled an appointment. The tech was a no show. When I called I was told I had no appointment unless I could prove I had it. I asked if we could schedule another one, the representative said she’d call me right back. She never called. When I called again I was told they can’t find the part. Why did they talk us into buying this in the first place? We have spent thousands with this company and are treated terribly.

    Dealing with Goodman Plumbing Co. was an absolute nightmare!!!! They have very deceptive business practices especially when you are in a crisis. I had a broken pipe in my basement and called for an urgent response. The contractor came out and was paid and initial service fee and subsequently gave me news that would have to dig my basement floor up ans replace a broken pipe to resolve the problem. The contractor stated that a tech would need to come out to give me an estimate. He stated that if I decided to accept the estimate and get the work done that my service fee would be deducted from the price. Despite this being an urgent matter with overflowing toilets and sewage all over the floor the tech came out hours later and stated that job was $4200 minus the service fees. I agreed to the terms and asked for a written quote. Several days went by despite numerous calls from myself and my insurance agent. Days later I was sent a contract several hundred dollars more than agreed upon. The office manager stated that she would have the tech fix the problem a resend me the corrected contract but instead days later the manager called back and said take it or leave it. Desperate and defeated I reluctantly agreed to the higher rate because of the potential health issues and the unavailability of an alternate company. The manager then stated okay we’ll deduct a hundred dollars but you have to pay half today I said fine no problem and when will you start the work? Given the very untimely response and deceptive behaviors thus far, I insisted that a start and conclusion of work be identified into the new contract. I was put on a brief hold and the office manager came back to the desk home and stated that she was unable to tell when the work would start or finish but still was trying to process a payment on my credit card. It was all clear that me or my payment meant nothing and that it was a strong possibility that I would have been out my money altogether!! Beware of scams!!!
