  My mother recently died and she had invested for each of my minor children with herself as the custodian. The company she invested with now has Broadridge in charge of all of their transactions. I have been trying to get the accounts transferred to myself as custodian and to change the address on the accounts since January. Every time I fill out the required forms (which the company confirms I filled out correctly) with the requested documentation (which the company confirms are correct) they send it back to me stating that the Medallion Guaranteed Signature is invalid. I have spoken with various customer service representatives and I have filled out and sent back the forms and documents three times. I have spoken with my bank which issued the Medallion Signature, and they confirm that the signature is valid and can find no reason for the rejection. In addition, three other financial institutions have accepted the Medallion Signature on similar forms, but Broadridge simply refuses to accept it. How can this be legal?

  This is a terrible company to do business with. My 89 year old mother who has dementia and resides in a memory care facility owned 270 shares of *************** stock that was held by Broadridge Corporate Issuer Solutions (BCIS). What should have been a simple, efficient process to sell the shares to help pay for the cost of my mother's care at the memory care facility was actually an extremely frustrating and unnecessarily bureaucratic process that took six weeks to complete after multiple calls and submitted correspondence. Their customer service was terribly inept and unhelpful.
