      I moved into my apartment on Sunday, 8/4/2024 for a year-long lease with NRM Properties. Included in my lease is a window A/C unit that is installed in a separate window made for it. Upon arrival, it became clear that it was inefficient; it is rusted, old, and too small for the space. A maintenance man came to check it out upon my maintenance request on Tuesday, 8/6/24, along with a slew of other issues including a hole in the wall with exposed piping, a missing freezer handle, a broken lock, and a dirty apartment with mismatched paint and many blemishes. The maintenance man told me that NRM Properties tells them to avoid telling us the issues and to scale back all repairs to be more like a temporary solution to avoid spending money on our apartments. He said I definitely need a new unit and will try his best to get me one and let me know he would reach out with an update. It is now Friday and I have called every single day and submitted additional requests to no avail. I get the same replies and the company continues to close my requests and marks them as completed when I continue to suffer. I have no problem getting my own unit, but I will not make my electric bill go up unnecessarily, nor should this go unanswered to determine if this is the best next step. I work from home part of the week and have had to go elsewhere because I can't work or sleep in my apartment for long periods of time without suffering from nausea, dizziness, and headaches. This is now the sixth day in this apartment and I still have not been able to sleep here. It is clear that NRM does not care about its tenants, and it is a greedy company profiting off of students. I pay way too much money to have this dilemma everyday.

      My son ***************************** was released from a lease that he previously signed for an apartmenton ***************.in ********** Pa..On July 9th.2014 ,this company sent us an email releasing him completey from that lease as he is relocating and found another person to assume his lease.and that his security deposit would be refund the following Monday or Wednesday. I've left several voicemails and emails to inquire when I can expect the security deposit refund and no one will get back to **** was asked last week if this Wednesday would work ,I responded but again heard nothing.Its been 3 weeks and I'm certain that they have a certain amount of time to return the deposit but It would be nice to know when as we're delaying our move waiting on this.We don't want to risk having it forwarded through the USPS.Please help get this closed and thank you for your help.***********************

      I rented apartment at *** ******* *** from NRM properties. I lived there almost 2 years. Upon moving out the manager asked for my forwarding address for my deposit of about $1000. I waited a few weeks and nothing. Now it has been several months and have not received anything. I have called multiple times and get nothing but the answering machine. I have left messages. I have emailed. I have used the "contact" form on their website and have received NO responses from them.
