    On 6/3/23 a check was issued to The Catholic Parish Cemeteries Association of Pittsburgh for the services of entombment of a deceased family member. Part of the services promised was a plaque for the outside of the crypt. Upon checking the crypt on 9/2/23 it was discovered that the plaque had not yet been installed. I called the company on 9/5/23 to inquire as too when we could expect the plaque to be installed. I was told that they did not know but someone would call me back. They never called back so I called them on 9/8/23 and was told that the plaque had not yet been ordered. I asked who was in charge of ordering the plaque and was told that they could not give me that information. I asked to speak with anyone who could tell me when we could expect the plaque to be installed and was told that someone would call back. I do not expect anyone to call back. Apparently, this company has taken our money and for 3 months have done nothing to complete the services agreed to on the order.

    The memorial
    plaque was ordered on Monday, Sept 11, 2023, a request was made to expedite the
    order.   We expect delivery of this
    memorial plaque within four to six weeks. This item was paid for at the time of purchase by the owner *** **** *******  Upon
    placement of the memorial, the next of kin *** ***** ****** will be notified of the
    installation.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    This plaque was ordered on 6/3/23.  We were told that it would be installed in 4-6 weeks.  They are now saying that it will not be installed for over 4 months.  We were never notified of any delay.  When we called to check on the installation, they tried to avoid providing us with any information.  If I had not called several times, the plaque may never had been installed.  We expect a partial refund of our purchase price due to this company's excessive delays in completing the order, poor customer service, their refusal to provide us with information regarding completion of the order and the time that I was forced to spend following up with them filing this claim and updating this claim.
