      Do not use this company !!! Lady named ****** said shes the only one with that name that works In billing does not need to be the one answering the phone !!! Very unprofessional laughing thinking everything is a joke I see why this place has 1-2 stars only. She needs to be fired and replaced immediately does not take her job seriously

      poor billing practices. I returned the equipment that was rented at over ***** a day after co-pay. their business practice is that if you return the equipment but don't call first they ignore the fact that they have the equipment and continue billing regardless. there is no instruction as to this policy so it is a hidden rule. this is another medical company charging more to rent life saving equipment that it is to out right buy your own. predator company. buy your own device and save a lot of money. i refuse to pay any money on a fraudulent bill. no help with customer service or the insurance company.

      This company is a scam. They told us that it would be covered under insurance but then we get a bill for $5000 for two months of having the vest. They also never called when I stopped wearing it so they were not even providing the service they said they would. We had ZERO contact with **** and would probably still have the device if we didn't decide to return it on our own. Please avoid this company.

      Zoll just sent me an a bill for $5,995 for renting Lifevest. No one had told me the monthly costs of the LifeVest nor told me it was an out-of-network provider. Had I known the monthly costs and it being out-of-network, I would have returned it within the first week of using it. The bill came in after returning the LifeVest and not while it was in my possession. I would have expected a monthly bill rather than a surprise bill at the end. I am just baffled after going through a double bypass thinking this would have been covered after going through in-network max out of pocket of $9,000 just to be surprised by this charge. I am just baffled and stressed out by this.

      Out of pocket was $540 a month for 3 months. I didn't need the vest after 30 days. No one told me out of pocket was so high. It's a RIP OFF!

      Scam business who prey on the vulnerable. Claim that there is no cost to you and few months later send 600$ bill.

      Rip off. Insurance pays rediculous amount and you owe 20% *****. We were told it was all coverd in the hospital. They bill for a full month even if you only have it partial month. Cardiologists must get a kick back because the vest is not know to work even if the *** approved it. Complained and was given a discount .

      My husband had a DNR and they still put the life vest on him. He was unable to sign consents due to his confusion after his stroke. The sales representative pressured him into signing.. the life vest was uncomfortable and he hated it. My husband then had a UTI with sepsis and had another heart attack. The vest did not warn us at all. So back into the hospital he went. The Doctors removed the life vest and when I questioned them about the removal, they told me he had a DNR and never should have had it in the first place. I am refusing to pay what our insurance companies already paid on the account. Its over $600.00.

      Boy these guys are slick! My husband was prescribed the LifeVest by a cardiologist during a week long inpatient stay to heart failure. This DX was sudden and lifechanging. A ************** salesman dressed in scrubs strolled in after we received what we felt like was devastating news. He said he knew what kind of insurance coverage we have and unfortunately our carrier is the "only one who gives Zoll any trouble when a patient is prescribed this life saving device". At first we told Mr. ***** we wanted to discuss amongst ourselves and get back to him. After he departs, the nurses and doctors start emphasizing the importance of getting fitted for the vest and that we should not leave without it. Mr. ***** also hovered around the room, finally catching me in the hallway when I stepped out to grab some water. Mind you, we are already down - and I am significantly lacking sleep at this point. He reiterates to me the importance of the vest and reminds me of the risk of my husband going into sudden cardiac arrest. I let him know I'd be in touch. During every conversation with Mr. ***** he provided assurance our carrier makes it difficult, but **** "can fight it and prove medical necessity" - "don't worry - you'll just have a copay". Well Mr. ***** and the hospital staff wore us down and we signed the waiver - "just a formality". Fast forward two months - today, here we are on our last appeal with little hope that this stupid device will be covered. Not sure how we are going to come up with the $10K to pay this bill. I hope Mr. ***** and the prescribing physician enjoy their kick backs and continue to sleep well at night. I have never been so disgusted by an experience. Not to mention - we aren't even done with the appeal process yet and Zoll is billing us! Based on direction from the doctor today, we told **** to come get their device. The response? Why? I do not recommend this device or company to ANYONE. They are shady, unethical, and prey on the vulnerable.
