The actual movers were great. Kind and efficient but as far as the company I would not use them again.I was quoted one estimate but I ended up paying almost double when the move was completed. I was charged for a third man and not informed ahead of the move. I was charged for boxing of tv and mattress bagging and that was not done. The kicker I was charged $114 to move cheap $10 mirror which was not protected. I was charged for mileage and time for driver going to wrong address to begin the move and then to wrong address to take the belongings.I discussed the price with the service and he took the $114 off and $25 boxing/padding but the 3rd mover and charge for time and mileage were not removed from going to wrong addresses and time to turn around to get to correct locations. He made it sound like I was getting a good deal when items were removed but still paid almost double the estimated cost.I was misled when comparing prices with 2 other companies and I feel **** plays this game of quoting low estimates and then adding additional movers without telling the customer and intentionally going to wrong address to add mileage and time to the estimate.

I can’t say enough good things about Don Farr Moving. From **** (estimate) to to ***** (dispatch) to ***** (driver), and all the men who helped with loading and unloading… EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, was friendly and professional. They scheduled pick ups to work with my driving plans and I greatly appreciate that! Our belongings were handled with care and made it to our new state without a hitch (except for the rain/flooding and narrow roads—sorry *****). I cannot speaks more highly of Don Farr Moving and Storage. *** ** **** cancelled my parents scheduled move 45 minutes before they were to arrive. I searched for local movers and found Don Farr. The reviews were good so I decided to call and oh my goodness am I glad I did. **** took all the information needed to reserve my parents move. He kept saying relax, it’s all good. ****, *******, and *** arrived early and ready to work. As a small business owner I know that employees can make or break your reputation. These men were OUTSTANDING!!! Nothing was too much (although my mom packs boxes with dead bodies they are so heavy), they were pleasant, organized, and efficient. My parents were happy, and they are hard to please. Thank you, thank you, thank you Don Farr Moving and Storage. You all made a bad situation much better. *************** Movers stole an entire weight stack from an exercise machine plus additional exercise equipment during a one day. To add insult to injury their missing items claim policy paid ** only a few dozen dollars to what ended up costing us several hundred dollars to replace our equipment. Lastly, they never followed up with us on a supposed investigation into which of their employees stole our items.Don Farr Moving & Storage Company

Do not use this company if youre looking for an efficient move. The movers damage items and the customer service stinks. They will protect themselves by saying the total falls within their $300 estimate range. Really disappointing. Management was arrogant and dismissive. There is a reason they are less than competitors. Learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.Don Farr Moving & Storage Company

We are sorry that you found our services cheaper than the competitors and the job completed within the estimated quote. Unfortunately, we could not resolve the matter after the move was completed, it seemed like an issue only arose when it came time to pay. In the restaurant business one would say don't eat the steak and then ask for it to be free. Simply ask if can be adjusted. We could have easily assisted! We hate running into circumstances where after service is provided the customer threatens bad reviews for discounts. Let's work together instead! I had some expensive and rather unique furniture in storage -- in fact for over a deacade! -- and the delivery crew worked hard, quickly, but most importantly were very gentle with both the items they delivered as well as not getting a single scratch anywhere on either the furniture or walls, *********.
