    Bad business practices from the estimators **** and ***** Especially Nick * Very rude and ignorant* Doesn't listen to customers requests* In the beginning in thought I could use them* Now I won't even recommend them to my worst enemy!

    *************** moving was attentive to details, on-time for pick-up and delivery. Extra careful with items of value and breakable. Overall, a pleasant experience. Ask for ******; she is the best!

    The people who actually moved the furniture worked very hard and were easy to work with, but they did not have blankets or bubble wrap to protect some items. A painted side table got 2 big scrapes that cannot be repaired. I bought extra insurance before the move and filed a claim. It has been a hassle to get the claim paid. The person processing the claim said that they mailed it, but no one was home to receive it, so it was returned to the carrier. Despite requests, that person has not shared what mailing company is delivering the check or any tracking information that I can use to see when the check was mailed and when it might arrive, so I can be home. The claim processing person won't even tell me how much the check is for. The whole claim process feels very shady. I filed the claim in February and am still waiting to get it resolved. Based on this claim process, I discourage anyone from using Don Farr Moving.

    In reply to the consumers complaint. Her claim was settled as based on her elected coverage. The settlement check was issued, however, returned to the carrier as undeliverable as the mailing company is the USPS (the carrier is the moving company). As conveyed to the consumer, a replacement check was issued and mailed to her today. Thank you for allowing Don Farr Moving to reply,

    Excellent movers and service! I could not be more happy with this company! Shout out to Crew Leader **** ***** and his team *****, ****, and ****** were wonderful. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They were careful, with our items as well as not damaging the walls when moving large items! They took the time to ask us questions when they were unsure of where we wanted items in the new space. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I would use this company again without hesitation! Thank you Don Farr Moving for excellent service!

    I chose *************** Moving based on the estimator's professional manner and experience. The quote was in-line with other estimates, and my real estate agent had good things to say. However, the move went badly! The 4 young men who did the actual move were not careful with the furniture. Nothing was padded as they navigated tight corners. Walls were nicked and paint transferred to wooden furniture. The movers said they could not move a box spring and vanity due to a tight turn. (My brothers, neither one a professional mover, managed to move those items on their own.) Yes, the furniture got moved, and nothing was terribly damaged. But many items bear evidence of this very unprofessional job-lots of nicks and scratches to walls and furniture. I would steer clear of *************** Moving; I wish I had chosen a different moving company.

    ****** we are so sad to hear that everything did occur without mishap. Our goal is always to make sure moves go as smoothly as possible, and minimize damage. We are here to assist with any damages please reach out to **************************************** so we can get the process started on making things right! Tight corners and walls are tricky sometimes and we had to hear things may have been bumped along the way. Also please understand that not all of the crews here are the same, typically moves do go without mishap, and we would/could have definitely helped on the day of the move with additional effort had we known about this sooner. We hope you consider us again down the road but understand your concerns.

    Fantastic service. I needed professional assistance with moving an upright piano. These were the right guys to call. They were friendly, accommodating, timely, efficient, and professional.     Used *************** Moving to relocate my elderly in-laws from house in ******* ** to independent living facility in ******* **. *************** M&S did a phenomenal job of carefully packing the furnishings and clothing. All breakable items from 62 years of memories were very well padded with paper and very organized in boxes. The movers were very professional and helpful delivering the boxes and furniture, reassembling beds and dressers with mirrors, rugs... they were great!All *************** M&S employees - coordinator at ********** office, dispatcher, driver and his assistant - did a terrific job of communicating with ** to meet the assigned date and move-in window at the independent living facility. No dents. No dings. All items accounted for. Zero complaints. Professional and respectful the entire way. The bonus was **** and my sister-in-law working along to his Pandora *********** Our family highly recommends *************** M&S for any and all moves, local and long distance.     I booked with this company thinking it's a professional moving company and I would be good to go, WRONG!!! I lived in a townhouse with 3 floors which I made sure to tell the person on the phone at the time of booking. I have a lot of furniture and it's pretty much all extremely heavy. I'm 44 years old and I felt at this point in life moving all that furniture was too much for me and a couple friends, hence calling the moving company. They sent me three movers, two of which could be collecting social security. I estimate the older of the two was in his 70s. The older gentleman was having trouble lifting/carrying the furniture and at one point stumbled down 3-4 steps while being on the receiving end of my triple dresser. I used this company because of a referral from a friend, apparently the movers they sent her were in their 20s. The older gentleman also complained about the difficulty of the job the entire time, slammed things around in my house, and was swearing loudly outside while loading the truck. Throughout the process my anxiety was at an all time high worrying the older man was going to get hurt and/or everything I own was going to be damaged or broken. I can't say this enough, choose a different moving company if you care at all about your belongings.

    Wow... Just wow... First let us apologize for any damage that *** have occurred during the relocation. We definitely hate hearing that. Please reach out to **************************************** so we can assist in that matter.As far as the crew we took a look at the time that was estimated for your relocation and it appears they were complete it right on the estimate despite being older.We are sorry that you believe they are too old but we are able to complete relocations successfully every day with that team as they are very experienced. We do have some movers in their 20s and of all ages for that matter. To be quite honest, sometimes the young guys are perceived as being inexperienced and can cause anxiety as well to certain customers. People are concern with lack of care and experience due to the young age. Obviously, at anytime if you would have contacted our office during the relocation we would have happily swapped out any of the team members that you had concerns with. It could have been a simple way to address your worries. We don't know when customers *** find the guys to be too old or too young. However, our goal is to always provide a good service and complete the relocation in the estimated time.

    They were on time, they kept great communication throughout the whole process. They were very friendly.They worked hard for hours with no break. They were very careful. I was very pleased. The only thing I wished they would of done was marked the boxes that they packed.
