I purchased an ******** Cocker Spaniel puppy I purchased from Petland in ******** on 7/29/2023. Petland did not disclose to me on the date of purchase that he was having stomach issues. They said he had worms but was treated, didn't need further treatment, and was fully vaccinated. Once I took him to the vet, they told me he was missing 2 vaccines and was diagnosed with Giardia. The vet said that Petland didn't give him the antibiotic properly for 7 days, and that's why he still has *******. He is now on his second round of antibiotics and has been given the vaccines Petland said they gave him. Due to Petland's neglect, vet bills for Giardia and first vaccinations have risen to over $700. Petland misled me on the price of the puppy and charged an additional $849.99 for a "Free Puppy Kit" which their Counselors tell all the customers is free and an *** membership.I contacted Petland on 8/17 and addressed my concerns about the puppy. They told me to call the *** and their Warranty person. I called both. The *** was not helpful and wanted additional payments for further assistance. The Warranty person was extremely helpful and kind. She gave me advice and told me to contact CareCredit and submit payment disputes with my records that she couldn't help with payment disputes. I did this after every vet visit. Today, 9/26/2023, I was emailed that my case has been closed, ruling in favor of Petland, and that I'm to pay in full for the puppy with no money taken off. The manager responded that I've "never notified us of any possible issues or health-related problems. Any further claims will go through our warranty service." This is a straight-out lie. I contacted Petland on 8/17 and was directed by them to speak with their ***************** I spoke with them the same day about the health-related problems and then was directed by them to start putting disputes in with CareCredit, which I did.

A male French bulldog (cream in color, Reg. # *************) was purchased from this establishment on 11/23/2021 as a present for me. The cost of the puppy was $10,000, and they had no problem financing the amount. Also a huge package of items and a crate were sent home with him. They talked about his bloodline and how there were 3 championship dogs in his ancestry. #3 veterinarians signed off to the health of this puppy. Not only was he to be my pet, but also a business investment to breed French bulldogs. My baby ******* died on 8/14/2021, not even reaching his first birthday 09/05/2021. Words cannot express the sadness that i feel. It was stated that you had to have puppy seen within 10mdays of purchase. However, they did not supply name and address of veterinarian to see. I called veterinarians from A-Z to have him seen. Since COVID there has been an enormous increase in pet owners, and veterinarians are overextended to take care of them. Our baby did not see a veterinarian until December 2021. But our first visit did not reveal any health issues. My puppy thrived, was a social butterfly, and loved people!!! And the 03/08/2022 came and my world was forever changed. ******* had a seizure that i witnessed and foaming of the mouth. To watch that and be able to do nothing was pure torture. He was hospitalized and treated, but was never the same. Diagnosis: MUE Meningoencephalitis....... In a sense a death sentence. Thousands of dollars in medical bills, thousands in medications, and was left with a shell of my baby *******. How do you have all your screenings and checks that you advertise and yet my $10,000 puppy is dying???? He then went on to be hospitalized again, and went downhill from there. Pentland was contacted and response was since not checked in 10 days from purchase they were not responsible....No compassion, no empathy, no nothing... Except not their problem. BUYER BEWARE if you purchase from this ESTABLISHMENT! Heartbroken
