For the December 2nd & 3rd weekend, 2023, booked a room for 6 adults as we were coming some distance to watch Penguins on ******************* on Sunday. Upon arrival, there were 5 beds so when I contacted customer service, they refused to help me because ******** stated I should have booked through them & not booking.com. **************** was very abrasive, nasty and would not help in any manner so we had to create a bed out of pillows and sheets so some of us used towels and jackets for pillows since we did not have any. The sheets were dirty, the toilet paper holder was ripped from the wall and the hvac system did not work real well. This place was not real clean but if you need customer service or have an issue, your screwed. I have contacted them as well as booking.com has contacted them at least 10 times and we hear nothing but crickets. Stay away...stay away...stay away.

This business puts people in physical danger. The suite rooms use an electronic pin pad to unlock the doors. However, many reviews state that the code they received in the confirmation email does not work, so they are forced to stay outside and call a customer service representative to resolve their issue. As this was my experience too. Alone, stranded on the street, feeling very unsafe. Some reviews state they could never unlock the door and were forced to find another hotel or Airbnb without receiving a refund from Stay Pittsburgh. The pin code at the door does not change from guest to guest. I was stalked by homeless people outside. They watched me enter the code, and they followed me into my room. Forced themselves inside the room I rented and harassed me. There is no security in the lobby. I tried to contact the property manager to let them know I was leaving due to the unsafe environment. However, they did not respond until the next day. I was promised a refund by the general manager but have not received it. I have attempted to contact the property for any updates about the refund via email and phone. Yet no one answers the phone or responds to the emails. I have read other reviews of this business. Many seem to share my experience. The pin code not working, stranded outside, strangers letting themselves in, failure to refund guests Many reviews state this business is a scam, and I sympathize with the statement.
