On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 the U.S. Attorney's Office announced legal action against snow and ice removal contractor Charles Lantzman. The indictment states that Lantzman defrauded consumers by charging for services that were not performed. Additionally, the indictment charges Lantzman of wire fraud as well as money laundering, occurring between December 2018 and March 2019.
An indictment is an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
This matter is pending, the complaint is seeking restitution, fines, and imprisonment.
