      adapthealth has been repeatedly calling me and has sent me a letter stating that they need my child's updated health insurance information. When asked what provider they are working for, they state that it is for my kid's "medical equipment". My kid does not use any medical equipment. Despite asking them to look into this (is someone else using my child's name and health insurance to get medical equipment?) and deleting any information they have about my child in their system, they have done nothing. I called and asked to speak with a manager to get my child's name removed and report this as insurance fraud, and I was put on hold for over 20 minutes at which point I hung up.

      The issue begins back in March 2022. I am receiving a CPAP device for sleep apnea. AdaptHealth has a contract with my insurance company Aetna for such services. Since March I have been charged over $500 is deductible fees.My invoices with them are:Invoice ******** $328.79 Invoice ******** $58.33 Invoice ******** $58.33 Invoice ******** $58.33 I worked in insurance claim processing for many years so instantly I knew AdaptHealth was doing something wrong. I confirmed with my insurance that they are billing using incorrect billing credential (NPI #) which is causing all their claims to process at the Out of Network benefit level which is for health care providers NOT contracted with the ************************ I have called several times and always get a condescending representative blaming my insurance company because they cannot comprehend that a PPO insurance plan has Out of Network benefits if an In Network provider is billing incorrectly. I never get anywhere with my calls, they refuse to help me and also have long hold times and refuse to let me speak with managers. I need the BBB to intervene as the claims need to be corrected because my insurance pays these at 100% for Contracted Providers.My next step is to put through fraud claims with **************** to take the money back from them but this is the last opportunity they have to fix this in a way that doesnt hit them with chargeback fines from AMEX.Thanks for all your help!*******************
